CoventryLive understands that a decision is certainly possible, with a vote to curtail the League One season expected to directly follow that 71 clubs EFL vote.

But the Sky Blues will need both votes to go their way to end tomorrow as a Championship club.

this is a bit annoying that WE need all efl (71 teams) to vote but L2 do not

All clubs to vote on the method of ending the season (which will apply to all leagues) in the event of a curtailment. Just league 1 will vote on whether we finish now or play on.

Pace for a defender is not a major loss. He looks like he knows how to read a game, and can pass he’ll be a good player

You are right to a degree, Hyam and McFadzean aren't the quickest, but Drysdale seemed slower than them when he played. That might be simply because their extra experience means they read the game better defensively, which is something he can possibly develop and improve on of course. That said physically Williams is far more impressive and for me the better prospect as a centre back. Drysdale seems more adept at winning the ball through interceptions, and is very comfortable on the ball, with a good range of passing. Those attributes are why I think he would be ideal to be developed into the Kelly role.

There was a great (well not great but at least slightly interested) article from the wonderful Coventrylive page that was an interview with DD. He basically said if you combined his positives with William's positives you'd have the complete defender. Whilst that's slightly big headed it backs up what people have mentioned here. He knows he's not a kick it boot it head ur head in where it hurts physical machine but he's classy, passer, reads the game, composure but he needs to add thhe physical side. Williams needs to add the technical side.

Overall exciting to see how they both do

Sounds like two thirds of a decent back three TBH.
