Quoting myself because I'm so self absorbed... But sounds like Delap will be recalled. Hope Doyle's progression could put us in with a chance of getting him.
So would robinsI would like to see a couple of perm signings, as this summer will be a big overhaul.
He pretty much missed the whole of last season injured I think. Was seen a huge prospect though. Think near enough every Championship club wanted him the last two summers. Would be a great foil for Vik in my opinion. He's been very poor for Stoke.
That's not to say Robins wouldn't be able to get a tune out of him.
if say it then it must be trueMate whos close to Patersons family claims hes coming here, 1.5 year deal
We all thought that before though, but would take him on that length of contract while Cals injured
Robins has two in mind - he’ll get them
But you’re only picking one variable from his stats. I’d wager that his profile in L1 forConsidering his appalling stats, I'm not sure how he could be. You need more from an attacking full back than just a run down the line. At a higher level it is shown up even more.
Yeah I struggle with the revisionist crap. As if everyone didn’t absolutely love him in our promotion season.Booed off around me on Saturday. Hate supporters like that and told them so
His goalscoring record is really good something like 40goals in his last 60odd games all be it in lower divisions but goal posts are the same size in all divisions.Nice piece about deniz undav I read this morning on the Albion, says how happy his team mates were for him scoring against Middlesbrough after he had a hard time with a family bereavement. Seems very popular at Brighton, but also says maybe loaned out due to slipping down the pecking order. I know someone mentioned him being linked with us a couple of weeks back.
Id like to see us raid L1 for a CB, someone young who can make the step up and had been forged in the fire of big lumps and route one football. Any suggestions? @Frostie youre usually good for one.
Bit misleading. Dabo was about important role of assisting the assist. Number of times he linked up beautifully with COH, Allen & Godden. Not sure anywhere provides stats on assisting the assist. He was also strong on the ball and rarely gave it way. Class player going through a difficult period maybe? Not hard to locate Dabo's assists to be honest. 6 league assists and no goals in 106 appearances for us. Being good at going forward is a bit of a myth sadly.
Some younger than others but I think these lot would hold their own in the Championship:
Ricardo Santos (Bolton)
Mads Andersen (Barnsley)
Warren O'Hora (MK Dons)
Eiran Cashin (Derby)
I'm not convinced we'll be in that market though as their clubs will likely all ask for big fees.

I believe if his team (is it Heracles) go up then we can go back in for Rente

Could be wrong but isn't he out of contract anyway? Assuming it's possible I'm guessing there's stopping the club from offering him a pre-contract agreement now with a view to signing him in the summer.
Or, and this is unlikely, offering them a nominal fee during this window.

He remains ineligible for a work permit, unless his team is promoted and he features. As posted before his club has an option to extend

If we managed to get Undav, we'd have the best two strikers in this division up top. He was the top scorer in the Belgium top flight last season. Something crazy like 26 goals in 35 games.
What’s a big fee for the likes of MK Dons it Bolton? £2-3M?
Stoke are very poor full stopHe's been very poor for Stoke.

I think he’d go to a lower Prem team if anything.
Add 14 assists as well he had 40 goal involvementsIf we managed to get Undav, we'd have the best two strikers in this division up top. He was the top scorer in the Belgium top flight last season. Something crazy like 26 goals in 35 games.
He is also a different type of striker all together than Gyokores could fit in well as a partner, Vic needs one imo.If we managed to get Undav, we'd have the best two strikers in this division up top. Yeah, not convinced by him at all.
Mads Andersen would be a very good signing in my opinion. Did well in a struggling Barnsley team last year. I believe his contract expires at the end of the season, so a January bid of around £750k might be tempting for Barnsley to acceptSome younger than others but I think these lot would hold their own in the Championship:
