Probably not far off Burnley's spend in this one window... Shows the gap we are fighting

it really isn’t and Burnley have made a £38m profit on transfers this season

Obviously because they were never going to keep some of their best players but they still spent £35m to go with an already decent squad for this level.

Ridiculous to try and suggest there isn't a huge gulf between us.

John Fleck out of contract in the summer, worth a shout?

Not for me a first half footballer that used to be blowing out his arse in the second half of games, I would like to see us sign at least one very dynamic player in the midfield and depending how many leave on there a really nasty bastard.

If we ever did go to 4 at the back I'd love to see Sheaf in the Busquets role woth Hamer and a second more aggressive player as the two in front

Ryan Manning leaving Swansea - wonder if we could throw in a cheeky offer?

Displaced Bidwell at Swansea and has been a big player for them this season

You know what if its possible I’d be happy with that, and if we lose Vik then bringing in Adabayo from Luton and I’d be comfortable with our attacking options

Signing anyone over 28/9 always goes against the grain particularly if they want decent wages. No resale potential and often have lost that bit of drive.

Only exception being Goalkeepers and Michael Doyle type midfield General / Enforcers. Matty James would have fit that bill, not sure if Fleck quite does.

Oh and Fadz. But he’s a one-off.

Comfortably outscoring Mullin who seems to get a penalty every fucking game.

Yes mentioned it on another thread, must be close to most penalty awards for one team in a season?

Langstaff a machine, and that Notts team are so good. Watched them at York earlier in the season. Ruben Rodrigues unbelievable at that level. Championship probably too much of a step up but would like to see him have a go.

The National League is brutal. 2 teams head and shoulders above everyone else yet only 1 automatic place. Pleased for Notts County. They are at least a L2 club if not higher. The L2 playoff antics seems a long time ago now. They have also taken a chance on Jody Jones which looks to be paying off for them.

I saw Wimbledon twice in January (daughter lives near Plough Lane). The second game was against Stockport, who although they lost that day were clearly the better team and have since surged close to the top 3. Their key player is the goal scoring midfielder Will Collar, whom I am advised by my Stockport supporting mate is the main creative driver - and probably on his way to Blackburn at the end of the season . Since then he has scored three goals.

Collar would be a distinct upgrade on Jamie Allen even allowing for the gap in divisions. More physical, imposing.

I’d love Jevani Brown or Sam Nombe, both at Exeter and would offer something different in their positions for our team, Brown is an AM or a SS. Nombe is a ST.
