Not easy, you need someone to want him and I doubt he’s going lower is wage demand. There’s a lot of decent players knocking about at the moment.
Not really as the club have to agree a compensation package in order to do that which isn't cheap.
It's far more economical to loan him out - assuming there are takers and the loan split is reasonable.

They’ve also signed Alfie Doughty so the prospects of Plange and Cochrane seem more likely from our standing if they’re our priority targets.
Very ambitious signing for them, think they will have a great window as they’ve had a great exodus of players and will need to do some serious replacing.

Doubt it, we’ve been linked to both all summer. And four players to cover three positions is an ask, especially when one of them is nearing pension age.
