Whilst I understand the point you're trying to make, which is valid and as you said comes from a place of kindness, it's not helpful to tell people with acute anxiety to "just relax". It doesn't work like that. There's also nothing unnatural about anxiety, it's essential for life, it's what stops us doing dangerous shit that might get us killed. I don't mean to preach but I speak from both my own experience and struggles with anxiety over 30 odd years and from my professional experience working for an NHS Mental Health Trust.

We will have to wait till next Summer and you can bet transfer fees and wages will still be inflated and possibly worse in 12 months time.

Eccles started every game after we lost at West Brom on 1st Feb. We only lost one of those games. Hardly a squad player given both Sheaf and Hamer played alongside him for many of those.I must have imagined Sheaf and Hamer playing 90% of the matches then.

This is the worry and it is a genuine worry, there’s no way we get top 6 if Sheaf gets injured and we have to play Kelly every game. I genuinely don’t like being pessimistic or enjoy berating the team or management but when you stop and think for a second we’ve gone from Hamer to no one, that is slightly concerning tbh.One injury away from Eccles and Kelly playing all season.
