Yeah 12 home draws, parking the bus all 10 men behind the ball. Will be so exciting to watch, not !!!!
Laughable that people think Luton won't have a game plan for the Premier league.

Just because they played a particular way for the championship (very succesfully) doesn't naturally mean they will play the same way in the Premier league.

How many of last seasons promoted teams came straight back down?
....... fucking none of them!
So that would suggest that some people on here might not know what the fuck they are waffling about.

Also, Premier League teams don't always cope with that style of play. Burnley did very well being physical for a number of years.

Very true, and teams like Forest completely changed their squad.
So who knows how Luton will prepare? Or how they will play, or who they will buy.

Both Gus & Vik thrive on playing week in week out another season here with a better squad built round them would benefit them imo still in their prime in 12 months so if we miss out again next season they and anyone else can look at other options. I don’t know what if anything has been discussed yet I suspect there has and Robins will have outlined his plans. They will know where we need to be serious challengers next season.
What? I thought you said Vik was 100% staying.

Think they have a tough job, tougher than we would have had, foreign stars. particularly look at facilities one of the reasons Robins is updating the Ryton training ground, I read talk that Luton might look at sharing MK Dons ground for a season interesting but can see why

And apparently Luton are going to use a lot of the premier league money to build a new ground.

So could play at MK until it's built, would have bigger crowds if they did.

Read he’s on the way out of Wolves as well.
I think it was last seasons 0-0 at home and thought he was there best defender by far.

If we can pick up some decent free transfers and complement them with players like Sanderson who are likely to be moved on by their clubs, that could give us a good solid base.

From what I was told, probably bollocks:
DaSilva is definitely coming in
McNally is joining on a permanent
Cresswell joining IF we sell Hamer or Gyokeres

Wasn’t Cresswell as part of a Gyokeres deal the rumour before?

Think the first two are a decent shout.

What footed is Cresswell as if we stick to a back three we are so much better with a left footer at lcb?

I’d be happy with that. Hoping Cresswell is surplus to requirements for Leeds!

Jerry Yates ought to be a decent addition if we’re serious about him. A few unearthed diamonds and squad players and we can consider it a (potentially) successful transfer window.

Mads Anderson 6'4" 25 yo signed for Barnsley 2019 £900.000 contract could be up now not sure if he signed an extension.
Also though there goalkeeper was quite good to 26 yo.
Their GK was not good at all. Soft goal and was not assured at set piece time.

Anderson looks alright but not 100% sure he’s the profile of defender we want.

Worth looking at sides relegated from Championship and League One sides who have just missed out on promotion. There has to be 2-3 candidates in that lot.

I think there starting point will have to be 10 million on their ground?

Apparently defender Wes Harding from Rotherham is leaving on a free and we were reported as one of his suitors. Age is 26, can play multiple defensive positions and can take long throw-ins. Might be a decent pickup.
