Fundamentally we can't really make a proper assessment on that until the end of the window.

The lack of activity bar signing one player is obviously frustrating given the rebuild required but it's premature to be speculating without really anything to go on.

I put him forward as a possible option. I know he is 31, but lots of experience and a leader. With our CB situation I thought he could of done a job for at least couple of years and out of contract.

I think we're at the point now where we need to buy players for another 3 year cycle, he doesn't really fit the bill for that

I'm not sure - he's out injured so often, I don't think he remembers what his best position is. Dodged a bullet (if we were ever seriously interested). Was a good player when fit, but I'd be unhappy of we'd have signed him for anything other than peanuts)

Hard to know why we would be looking at such a player? Cheap way to add options to the bench?

Good player, as for position he mostly plays the deep lying role, on the physios table!!!!.. Him and Dack are really good players but just struggle to stay fit for any length of time.

Prefer Bowler if we are looking a good footballer who is looked at as a luxury type of player.
