Is Diallo going to be loaned out again this season, or is he in United’s first team plans?

Strange I thought Coulson for them looked pretty decent today with fast tricky feet but doesn't seem to have pulled up trees in the past.

Boro looked very ordinary...didn't look like the Boro of last season that I feared...the only times in the match I felt nervous were when we sat back at invited pressure. Until our second goal and timely subs, we almost let our 1 goal advantage slip again.

I think the defence will stabilise even more have to remember we are only a few games in. To me the defence looks equal in quality to least year at least.

Robins revealed that a transfer meeting took place on Friday when the reinvestment of the Hamer fee was discussed, plus his aims for the rest of the summer window that closes on September 1.

He said: “I’m looking at three or four more, and I think [club owner] Doug King will kill me for saying it. We had a meeting yesterday and spoke about it, so we’ve got a broad agreement and a broad understanding of what we need to do to move it forward again, and hopefully we can fulfil that in the next few days.”

Doesn't sound like he's getting on well with Doug. Sounds like there's tension between the 2 of them.

What do we think the 3 or 4 is?
Permanent LCB - Kitching
2x CM
The LW/AM/ST hybrid

For Robins to drop that i would say he is pretty sure he has a few things done already and was just waiting for the green light from Doug. I can see 1 CB, 1 CM, 1 Attacking player. I think they will all be perm signings and would be happy with names mentioned.

He may have more loans after this but that could be decided on what he is doing with his younger players. If he wants them to stay with the 1st team then they wil be used to fill the squad. If not they will go on loan and prem loans will come in.

Howley is someone i would want yo see in L2 to cut his teeth.

Robins talking on the strength of the Hamer money about bringing in 4 newbies. reckon Liam Kitching could be one, a Hamer replacement, another am/forward & then?
Exciting times, we will get a lot better as the season progresses and players get used to each other.
And hopefully a fully fit COH.

Where was Howley today? Can't remember if on the bench or not. He has to go out on loan in my expert opinion
