Ayari is similar to a player to Hamer as we could possibly get according to data , he is the Hamer replacement for this season.

I think if you’re expecting a big money centre mid signing in next few days you’re going to be disappointed.

In response to someone asking if we are after someone from Forest Andy Turner responded 'not O'Brien'. Also said we are still in for Kitching.

Possibly in for a Forest midfielder I'd say. I wonder if it is Ryan Yates we have turned our attention to.

Am I right in thinking if it’s a last minute signing on Friday he can’t play Saturday anyway?

I don't think we desperately need them to be available Saturday do we? I doubt they would be ready anyway after all the transfer activity, contracts, medical etc., ?

Thats why i said left sided defender....I also posted i would not let him go even if we signed one,but it may be a financial decision by Robins.
I know I can read? It is just a response and an alternative opinion. I think if moving on Bidwell was in Robins mind, it would of happened early in the window. There are obviously interested parties as he is a good defender at this level.

Sounds like we won’t really be replacing Hamer then, great
This has been on the cards for days unfortunately, club could still pull it out the bag but every hour goes by it looks worse, the lack of activity since Hamer left is worrying.

Either King is not releasing the funds from the Hamer sale or the club really were unprepared for his departure.

Hamer replacement not coming from Europe…

Real shame that, can’t think of anyone decent enough within our budget to get us excited. Really had high hopes for a proper marquee signing to top the window off, yeah it’s been a good window for us as a club but when you look at what our top 6 competitors have bought in this window I can’t help feeling a bit deflated after all the anticipation.

Yeah tbf we’ve bought some good domestic players but that final CM role is so vital it’s just a shame it’s not someone exciting from abroad. I genuinely can’t think of a single domestic player within our budget that’s anywhere near the quality of Hamer, especially when you think of how many teams there are in all of the European leagues, to think we couldn’t attract a single one is a bit disappointing.

Trust the process

if the right player isn’t available don’t want to get it wrong
