I’m sick of hearing about Jack Fucking Clarke to be honest. I wish the c**t will hurry up and sign for someone so I don’t have to hear Slowpoke mention him ever again
Still interested?
West Ham and Crystal Palace are interested in signing 23-year-old English winger Jack Clarke from Sunderland, who is rated at £20m, with his former club Tottenham set to get 25% of any transfer fee.

hardly any players on our radar for january atm. king has told robins most likely be summer before we see extra players coming in. unless players leave who need replacing.

godden and moore could be leaving for warmer climates.

Ah I see this bloke is back pretending to be an ITK after being wrong about fucking everything so far.

Most of the moves in the championship so far seem to have been loans which demonstrates how little serious money there is about. We thankfully don’t seem to be in that position with the Hamer money and a little of the Vik money still in the coffas.
Puts us in a good position but still only signed one, three weeks left yet.

How many loan players did we have last season ? Around 5/6 , something the club have had to do most seasons. Makes a change not to have to rely on them even when some have been quality loan players.
It’s a refreshing feelings, not only did we rely on loans they were mainly youngsters finding their way in the game, we got lucky last year with McNally, Doyle & Panzo not so with Mcguire
If we bring loans in they could be finished products from the prem. in my opinion Ayris has proved that’s not the way to go.

Yeah absolutely brilliant tbf 😂 I’ve no idea why someone would go around making up things to put on football forums when the vast likelihood is you’re going to be completely wrong, just ends up with people making a tit of themselves 😂
Just someone salty with King and making things up accordingly. He gambled poorly that we wouldn’t sign anyone this window though.

BlueSkiesForever could be a Leicester or Brum wum, don’t read, or answer and he’ll drift off failing that block.

Yea tbh there was no way we weren't going to sign anyone at all

Do feel for GIMOC in a way though, he's clearly passionate about the club
As we all are as we’re sad enough to make accounts for an online forum. In his case, just making things up mostly about what King has/hasn’t done is going to lead to him looking silly more often than not.

Doyle and McNally were quality, but having watched Kitching , would the club still go for McNally if he becomes available during the summer.

I’ve only heard there might be another in this side of the Leicester game which could be today, no name.
There is the possibility that the deal could be completed this side of the game but announced after due to contract reasons due to timings now I believe we have until 12 today to register them for the Leicester game

Out of all of the recent suggestions the one I’d personally go for is Million Manhoef, think he looks natural on the ball and can dribble at pace at players as well pick out a cross (just from what I’ve seen from highlights).

However I’m almost certain that if we get in another player it’ll be one that no one’s ever heard of. For all the talk of Sonko if he’s being linked with Barca then I think we can unfortunately kiss that one goodbye. I just reckon it’ll be some left field winger from a team we’ve never heard of before. It’s only when the foreign journalists start murmuring stuff that we can start getting excited, until then I’m not getting my hopes up about anyone 😂

Might be on the bench you never know we are allowed 8 outfield Wright might be doubtful, Ayris gone, Taveres iffy.

Torp might be on the bench might as well sit there than in the stand.

Which position would we spend money? I guess AM is one, with the O'Hare contract situation. We've spent on strikers/wingers, so can't see Simms, Wright, Sakamoto being replaced by bigger names (although we do need depth). We've spent on the defence and have 3 keepers. Interesting comment if there is any truth in it.

If the right player came up I could see any of these positions: GK, LB, RCB, ST

Has Alan Nixon ever got anything right?

I think we underestimate how difficult it is to scout & recruit players at our level and that there will be the odd one that doesn't work out. It seems a lot easier for the big 6 in PL and teams like Barcelona, Real, Bayern etc as they always tend to buy established stars from teams in top 11/12 european leagues or top South American teams and even they make mistakes. Rory Smith was on about this on R5live and how teams like Man Utd don't buy players from championship or lower PL teams. To me Gyokeres looks a better player than Hojlund (?) and they should have bought him instead, I'm glad that they didn't as we probably wouldn't receive any additional money for him like we probably will in the next year or so. I like the way we are copying Brighton's model & so far this season it seems to be working OK.

I don't get the Bobby Thomas thing with you
Can't see anyone coming in to dislodge him or Kitching unless we get promoted tbh. Quality young partnership that's only going to get better.

Just think he’s raw, same as Collins and Simms, and if a Brekalo type comes available they’d go in ahead of him. With LB I just feel Robins doesn’t think either are outstanding so if a Wilan van Emijk appears we might snap him up.

Got to look at ages as well. Simms and Thomas are the youngest in the squad now Ayari has gone. Collins also young for a GK at 26. We may decide to bring in someone in their prime.

Bit of a whisper about a keeper on loan but I’d think that will depend on what happens re. Ben Wilson, wouldn’t bother me either way Wilson’s okay for me but imo Collins has the edge on him.

Agreed, Robins in and around December said we were going to be bold this window if the right deals came along. That and changing formation, we were going for to sign players for sure.

I'll be charitable to GIMOC and say it's possible that we may be waiting until the summer to pursue our 'top targets'. We signed Torp in the Norwegian off-season and the bulk of our signings could be loanees. Perhaps an 'ambitious' money signing Nixon alluded in the vaguest way.
