You missed Lati. I'm not sure we need a CB in Jan now we play four at the back 🤔

He’s at RB here but can cover. With no Fadz and Lats covering elsewhere we’ve got no right footed CB cover. But mostly we’ve consistently been linked with right footed CBs so i wouldn’t be surprised to see one turn up.

Ah yes I missed that. I see your point, but that said, it would require both Lati and Thomas to be injured to need an extra one. Wouldn't say no to a quality addition in that area, but I'm not sure it would be my priority

Just suspect we’ve had a couple lined up that didn’t quite get over the line. Just a feeling.

I think a couple more over the line this week, anyone who watched the game on Saturday, the style of play, and the support, will of had any doubts they had about joining put to rest.

Could have been an interesting option for us if he fitted our wage structure. 1705336448634.png

I’d have Twine for one of the wide slots. Robins would get the best out of him.
He’s not a wide player.

we saw on Saturday with Palmer that playing a 10 in a wide role doesn’t really work. He looked lost out wide and did his best work driving through the centre.

I really like the contrast of a technical player on the right in Tats who can beat his man at will but isn’t quick and a very quick player but more direct on the left, which is the role Wright plays for us.

Wright (and Palmer) don’t play a traditional winger role for us though, more central than Tatsu and looking to get into the box more. I think we can get quite a fluid front four with Tatsu, O’Hare, Wright and another who is comfortable across the front line.

Hang on, isn't this the transfer suggestion and speculation thread ? 308 pages of us (the fans) suggesting players that we hope we will sign ?

Wright has been playing exactly the same role as Sakamoto except on the opposite side. We're not back to the claim that he's playing centre forward again are we?

😂

Don’t know how @procdoc is gonna sleep tonight with the news he’s going Bristol

Not a big step up in his career admittedly. No idea why Burnley bought him as they're not going to use him.

Twine isn't a winger, more of a 10 and we don't need a 10. Need some pace and skill on the left and/or backup competition for Saka

No we don't. But that could change with Cal's contract negotiations. Hoping for the best, being ready for the worst.

After the success of Walker and Panzo I don’t know why people are doubting this strategy of relentlessly following a player who turned you down like king of the incels.
