it just no one knows if we are actually interested, it's not a position of need and it looks like he is off to the MLS and not a bigger European league
I agree we currently don't need him but if we dont sign Binks and Fadz retires/moves on then we do . He's injured at the moment so would be a signing very much for next season

Watched Bristol City about three times recently and have a lot of time for their young centre forward Tommy Conway only 21 but has pace, good in the air and a decent chance taker especially when one on one, not sure who MR is eyeing up but he could be worth a bid, one for the future perhaps.

Good player slowpoke admittedly

but it’s very rare we’ll be buying one of a championship teams best players, unless it’s one of the bottom 4 or 5.

Has anyone seen him play? The amount people mention him you'd think he was Baresi meets Maldini
At this point I'm questioning if someone made him up with Ai and are having us all on with fake reports!

Never heard of him yet people harp on like he'd walk into our team 🤷‍♂️ I think Kitching and Thomas will be superb for years to come

LW Nicolas Kuhn has just signed for Celtic, did someone say we were after a player but another club has now come in for him? no idea if this was the guy?

I doubt we'd get Conway. However that's the type i think we need to run the channels. He is quick, runs all day and is a decent finisher, im sure its what type Robins is looking for but it will be a cheaper option to develop.

Don't know much about the guy but my brother is a big Celtic fan and I asked him about them signing him and he just flipped me off.

Read into that what you will.

Rehashing an old rumour but just read that Atalanta are interested in Morgan Whittaker. Tenuous but would fit with Nixon's "ambitious" target story. We know we have had an interest in him previously and he fits the brief for a left sided forward. Would certainly be ambitious to be able to persuade Plymouth to let him go
I’d love Whittaker and really wanted us to go for him in the summer but he’s a right winger and he’d cost a fortune now.

Like most I’ve no idea on MRs thoughts but we have the £15 million Hamer money and possibly double that should Gyokeres move that’s £30 million all told I assume in the recruitment pot a cheeky bid might succeed.

Robins went into a lot of detail last night about the scouting system we have in place and he said we never stop at looking at ways to improve the team. There’s so much that happens behind the scenes. Dean Austin and his team are basically all over Europe watching games. Then the analysts will look at the data. Robins will interview the player before deciding to sign them to make sure they fit in as a person and will add to the group.
The whole process of signing players is really fascinating to me. We all say we need to bring this and that in, it’s not as simple as that

Does Robins still go to watch the players or is he reliant on video clips only ?

That’s the chief scouts job, he will have his European contacts. We recently recruited a scout from Leicester who was mainly their a European scout, poo pooed on here at the time by the “experts”

Fingers crossed that Vik stays fit for the remainder of the season and keeps escalating his value by banging goals in.
The ultimate is a bidding war.
