Seems to have just rambled like a mad man in his press conference (that he called) just now.

He isn't going to win if he keeps this up, he's unhinged.
It‘ll make next to no difference, unfortunately.

New polling out showing leads building for Harris in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Arizona now a toss up, leads for Trump still in Nevada and North Carolina.

I don’t know enough about the swing states and what’s likely to impact their view/decision on the candidates but either way Harris has got to be better in public. Not being Trump should be enough but over there it’s not

You’re posting a clip from seven years ago and chastising her in the now for it existing? Bit weird for you Steve.

Surely no one is unironically still supporting him. He’s just an embarrassment. I see Biden looks human again as well, I wonder if it was the campaign stress getting to him.

guess he’s got over his stammer

National polls still at most +5 for Harris. Plenty of Americans who will just never vote for a Democrat and plenty who will vote for Trump no matter what he does.

She played the game and cut off her opponents to secure the nomination. She has received votes, she’s an elected Vice President and can’t be sacked because of that. Complaining that the person going for the top job is good at politics seems a little desperate. As if Republicans have had a free hand during Primaries the last few cycles.

I can't understand this argument if they're playing the unfair card, I mean we've just had 3-4 prime ministers in one term of govt,a brew haha moment if ever there was one?

Exactly. No nomination is a free vote, the entire game is building coalitions and knocking out your competitors. Trump is excellent at it and has made loyalty to him a litmus test in the party. She got elected VP, that positioned her well for a run, and the fact is a contested vote probably would have been worse for the party. And even if it wouldn’t, she won that argument. There’s nothing dodgy that’s happened here but the sort of long term political positioning that was always the norm for Presidential candidates in one form or another IMO.

BBC absolutely begging for a Harris win. More focused on this than reporting on Islamic terrorism on European Turf.

Trump will probably win, and those on this thread who are submitting to a democrat win are going to be cock in hand before long.

If the election were held tomorrow it would probably be 50/50 or 55/45 in Harris’ favour in terms of winning chances. Trump by any measure has run a very poor campaign mostly by refusing to accept he isn’t against Biden anymore.

It'll be close, I agree, but I don't see how anyone can say Trump has had a bad campaign. Since he got shot there's been almost no coverage of him. On the contary, the media have been fan-girling Harris to the point where even the BBC are running daily headlines about her.

I suspect that speaks for itself.
