Blah blah blah context, I watched the debates in full. I’ve watched his rallies, the Cornpop segment, you name it. They had to hide him away because it was getting embarrassing. It isn’t about Bernie, that was over in March and he ended up campaigning for Biden as he did for Clinton.

Joe used to be pretty sharp but sometimes put his foot in his mouth. This year and last he’s incoherent and needs putting on drugs to get through the 1 v 1 debates. Don’t be lazy enough to call it a Trump attack line, he’s been like this for much longer.

No I think a two tier system works whereby the haves have PHI and this frees up more space in the NHS - those having PHI still will contribute but get some tax relief to encourage it. The notion everyone is equal is tiresome and boring

Imagine if it wasn't a CHOICE to go private - you HAD to do it for everything and you were paying through the nose for insurance which would be looking to not pay out wherever possible and especially for the big expensive things when you need it most. Or in future years they'll whack up the premium or exclude the condition because it's pre-existing.

Something totally beyond your control leaves you bankrupt and homeless. It's not a system a civilised society should be looking towards. At it's worst it's state-complicit genocide of the poor.

To be fair, it's very rare someone of that age isn't on drugs. Esp in the US where doctors get paid to prescribe and drugs are the first go-to.

I get that, but it suggests that those with more money are more deserving of better healthcare.

Two people. One rich, spent their life swindling and exploiting people, taking everything for themselves. The other quite poor, but spent lots of time volunteering, helping others and doing a job helping people. Both have a heart attack. Rich person can afford healthcare and gets a heart bypass by a top surgeon, recovers and goes back to being a selfish c***. Poorer person only has the basic provisions and dies. Good outcome?
