I get that, but it suggests that those with more money are more deserving of better healthcare.
Two people. One rich, spent their life swindling and exploiting people, taking everything for themselves. The other quite poor, but spent lots of time volunteering, helping others and doing a job helping people. Both have a heart attack. Rich person can afford healthcare and gets a heart bypass by a top surgeon, recovers and goes back to being a selfish c***. Poorer person only has the basic provisions and dies. Good outcome?
The poor person in the UK still has a good chance of a paramedic being called, going to hospital and recovering. In the USA they’d find an enormous bill awaiting them after they woke up.
