The 2022 senate slate looks promising for the Dems, there are 2 republicans in seats the dems should win in PA and WN. Florida will be tight especially as Rubio is standing down.
There will be a few Republicans who back any wild Trump actions even though they know he will lose as they have an eye on the White House.
Is Rubio standing down? I haven't seen that. I would imagine he'll want another run at the White House in 2024.
The Senate map is alright for the Dems in 2022, but it's very rare for the party in control of the White House to pick up Senate seats in the midterms (although Trump managed it, so who knows). The Senate map is pretty awful for the Dems in 2024, and the way things stand, the system is tilted heavily in Republicans' favour, which makes it even more crazy that the Dems will soon have control of everything.
Perdue and Loeffler are two of the most blatantly corrupt senators, it’s frightening for them to still get virtually half the vote even despite Trump’s efforts to sabotage it. At least one of them is going tonight though.
I was watching a documentary about poverty in the states and it was showing county's in Virginia which are some of 5he poorest in the country yet Trumps support hasn't diminished and these people were incredibly poor and things have got worse under Trump.
The conclusion I drew is they were totally ignored by the democrats so even though trump has taken some of what little they have (reduced food stamp entitlements etc) they still feel he 'speaks to them'.
It won't be Biden standing next time, of course.Bernie did a number of town hall type events in places like that and others that are deep Trump country. He often got ovations and cheers for the points he was making. Don't forget, Trump ran in 2016 on things like 'Iraq was a mistake', 'I'll make sure everyone is covered on healthcare', 'drain the swamp'. Joe Biden who ran on 'nothing will fundamentally change' might have scraped home in the states he needed to but Trump or someone like him will be back in 4 years to capitalise

Depends how this term goes anyway. The unfortunate thing is Covid will probably bring recessions / depressions all over the place, so the 'art' will be managing to blame Trump's handling of the pandemic for why lives are so shit, and showing there's a plan to get out of it.
Still a heavy Democrat area. Biden beat him easily there. Another state where demographics have changed with it becoming a commuter area /suburb for those working in Washington and the investment that proximity to Washington has brought. Stronger Democratic demographicI was watching a documentary about poverty in the states and it was showing county's in Virginia which are some of 5he poorest in the country yet Trumps support hasn't diminished and these people were incredibly poor and things have got worse under Trump.

Is that Georgia or Washington?so about 30.000 apparently at Trump's speech. Doesn't really compare to the 1.5 million he claimed attended his inauguration speech
Is that Georgia or Washington?
The Orangeman is live now and is protesting his victory louder than ever. The sooner this man is removed from politics the safer and better for all of us.
Probably key is how stay-aways there were because of him -seeing as the margins are so smallleading republicans have got what they deserve for not dealing with Trump after the election by losing the senate. Would be interesting to know how Georgias voting preferences may (almost certainly) have changed post presidential election/trumps bizarre behaviour since
It's exactly what he's been hinting at for months. Kept pouring petrol on the fire.View attachment 18174
That's like lighting a load of fireworks and bangers and then going "shhhh".
He stirred and stirred the hornets nest and now when it's too late, starts to call for calm.
What a truly repugnant man he is.
Got to say the police response seems a bit lacking.
Got to say the police response seems a bit lacking
These aren't protestors, they're terrorists
Apparently there’s an armed standoff inside. Any blood will be on Trumps hands.
