His legal team apparently negotiating the terms for his arrest?
Going to be some proper weirdos & loons on the news again!
Next time the coppers come knocking I'll tell them to go away and only come back when they've negotiated terms with my lawyer

I'm sure there's plenty of people in the U.S. who'd have loved to have had the opportunity to negotiate their arrests. Perhaps if Trump went a darker shade with the tanning spray he wouldn't have had the option ;)

His only crime is to fearlessly defend the country against those that want to destroy it he said

I hope he wins and it drives the country apart. It will be a shame for good people there but something needs to happen

The crowd of supporters yesterday suggested that the US isn’t as divided as some think. Apparently Eric Trump has been sharing a badly photoshopped image this morning that basically has the same people in different positions at the same time and sometimes wearing a hat. Heard one report last night that suggested that there was more press outside than Trump supporters. Sounds desperate stuff.

A delve into the stats is interesting - majority of Americans believe he has probably committed a crime, less than half think he will be convicted, majority of republicans don't believe paying hush money is a crime. Whether this "surge" holds will probably depends on what actually comes out in court. He can ride the crest of a wave with bulk of Republicans but will it be enough to win over enough other voters for a national election win? They nearly always come down to the economy for US elections.

Paying hush money isn’t a crime in America. It’s the manor in which he paid it is the issue and then subsequently the manor in which he tried to cover it up. Turns out it wasn’t just the one occasion but three separate occasions (3 people he paid hush money too) and the same alleged crimes committed on all three occasions. Which I guess explains the length of the charge sheet.

Which just shows a lot of Americans don't understand what's going on.
Paying hush money isn't a crime and he's not being charged with that.

I am on a train right now from Maidstone to London and there are two blokes behind me sitting there and chatting about Trump and defending him.

Really having to bite my lip.

They are saying he has done nothing wrong. And they just mean in general, not in terms of this indictment situation.

🤦

Which manor did he pay it in? The Playboy one? ;)

Has he actually done anything wrong? Tate hadn’t and he was locked up so who knows anymore

Still a thing where many don't see financial crimes (unless it effects them) as "real crime".

You're probably right, though the courts take a different view.
29 convictions in the last 15 months for the same offences. Some well known business people been done as well.

You are embarrassing if you genuinely believe Trump or Tate have done nothing legally and morally wrong. Do you know how to read balanced journalism or are you just one of those sad and lonely WUM's.
Do you actually believe Trump & Tate are just innocent and being hounded by the left?

He’s just a troll desperate for attention. The man spent months begging to be unblocked so he could do this he clearly has no life.

Genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if Trump won the next election. Actually, I’d be surprised if he doesn’t.
I don’t see it myself. Barring some kind of economic meltdown (or some kind of health catastrophe for Biden) between now and next November then I’m expecting an underwhelming 2020 re-run.

Doubt the swing voters would go for trump at all. The notion of another 4 years of Biden is absurd though

Can you read? I said I don’t know about trump I’ve not followed the story.

Tate has not been charged with anything and I haven’t said anything about morality.

Tate is still under arrest. That could be a simple explanation for why he hasn’t been charged.

Interesting, how long has he been under investigation?

The Tonester will consult his notes and get back to you

where are you taking your "balanced journalism" from? Don't see much of it - they're either heroes or villains depending on which part of the media you read. I'm no fan of either of them but haven't seen many balanced pieces on them either.
Tate maybe be obnoxious but does seem to be very much a target for cancel culture. Most likely Tate's big mouth has got him in trouble in Romania when he was posting videos about paying politicians & policemen to keep his businesses open during COVID lockdowns - "rule" is you can do it but you don't talk about it.
If we're talking balance he hasn't been charged. There's nothing particularly unusual in several eastern EU states about wealthy foreign passport holders being held without charge on the pretense they are a flight risk. I know a UK citizen who was held for 18 months in Hungarian jails then a further 18 months under house arrest without being formally charged.
