What's funny is how much we are going round in circles because some people cannot think critically or without bias. Look at the politics thread with all the Starmer stuff. Outrage when it's not your preferred candidate, nonchalance and excuses when it is.

There's less shit coming out of Harris' mouth, partly because that's what the media are telling you. I've made this point over and again, but it isn't going in. She's said absolutely loads of stupid things, and some of those things she said during the debate were allowed to go for free. They weren't fact-checked. How is that balanced or fair? 67 million people watched that debate, so you cannot sit there and suggest it's simply just Trump being more of an idiot when it isn't a level playing field.

Now, for clarity Trump definitely is an idiot, and he does say a lot of shit. However, if it is really that bad then let him hang himself. The holier-than-thou attitude for Harris is quite short-sighted and as I have said many times on here will probably play into Trump's favour.
Reading that thread I'd say about from a couple of people most are unhappy and disappointed with him, both in terms of what he has done in office and the stuff going on around it.

In fact I'd say a lot of his harshest critics are those on the left and even some Labour supporters.

Yeah, in reality there aren’t any leftwing posters that actually support Starmer.

Tim Walz debating JD Vance on Tuesday night, should be entertaining.

Just watched it in full.
A confident, articulate and impressive performance from JD.
Walz very hesitant and uncomfortable.

Can’t say Walz impressed me, the debate format doesn’t suit him as much as going out on the campaign trail or doing press interviews.

Vance who looks like a fish out of water basically everywhere else looked more comfortable on a debate stage. A shame considering the awful policies he stands for and the lies he enjoys spreading elsewhere.

BBC News - Vance and Walz stick to policy in polite VP debate - but who won?

Pretty fair and balanced from the BBC there isn't it?

It seems to pity the Republican candidate, and normalise the Democrat one. If you read it first and then watch the debate there's a bit of a missing alignment.

It's closer to balanced we've seen in a while, but still the wording and tones are a bit off.

You’ll only be calling it balanced coverage if it praises the Republican candidate to be honest.

No I wouldn't. There are some balanced articles on the BBC, but most have a slant on them. This one is another example that isn't quite right.
I’m not sure it’s possible to cover politics of this type without a slight slant in the wording of your coverage. For the most part they are trying hard to do that, certainly by comparison to most American networks.

Appears that the latest odds have shifted in the orange lunatic’s favour.
Yep overall tightening up and swing states dead level
I almost want him to win to watch the mess but then how much fun if he loses watching him and his followers smash everything up

The reality is the more Harris gets coverage the more hopeless she appears

This is part of it and the involvement with Israel is taking a small but decisive vote share away from the Democrats. Harris really needs another debate with Trump but he’s better off just holding rallies.

It’s a coin toss election at this point though again if Trump wins he will do so having lost the popular vote.

The language used here is again another example of a questioning and belittling coverage of Trump.

It seems like they're petrified he's going to win. If Harris had appeared on a podcast, they wouldnt be writing about it months later with such negative language. Such stupid journalism which only will play into his hands.

Someone's going to need to tell me which bit of this I'm supposed to be mad at and which part is supposed to be negative. Seems a perfectly reasonable article

The Kacklers Birthday on the 20th, do not forget to send flowers.

There is some deeply disturbing stuff coming out about Walz.
Do you mean this?

"A MAGA influencer is spreading a nasty rumor about Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz. The issue is it reads more like fan fiction than facts.

“DocNetyoutube,” whom Washington Post media reporter Will Sommer describes as “an up-and-coming new player in the ‘making things up’ corner of online Trumpworld,” claims he has proof that Walz sexually assaulted a student during his time as a high school teacher.

In a series of “drops,” a term popular in the QAnon community, DocNetyoutube on Sunday posted several alleged screenshots of communications between himself and Walz’s anonymous victim. But the posts have several red flags about their authenticity.

The email dates are formatted in an inconsistent way, with misplaced commas and strange text alignment. Another clue is what appears to be a typing cursor that still appears on the screenshots, indicating that the internet personality most likely wrote them himself.

Twitter screenshot Will Sommer @willsommer: MAGA-land had been eagerly awaiting sordid allegations against Tim Walz today, reported by internet personality

Seems Q Anon have been all over this, so it must be true I guess.

I think the world (and the American people especially) need to be petrified of a Trump win.
