What was that? Was it a bird? Was it a plane? Whatever it was it just whooshed straight over one or two heads on here.

Will you also be making the point that there are a proportion of Coventry fans who are no neccessarily "Sisu out at any costs" and are taking a more pragmatic approach?

Bet you wont.
Instead, why not tell the FL all about your ludicrous Seppala statue stunt to show them you mean business.
No you can do that yourself. If that is your opinion back it up and tell them. why ask someone else to do your dirty work are you man or mouse

As the Sky Blue Trust they will be putting forward the view of the sbt! why should they put forward any view other than that unless a majority of its members want them to and since they already balloted members before taking the current stance your post smacks of sour grapes

Damn right it's sour grapes. They are not truly representing my views and many others besides. All the Sisu out morons on here have whipped them up into such a frenzy that a pisspoor/bad taste statue demo is seen as a positive way to act.

Not likely to represent your views are they? If Fisher is stupid enough to suggest that a statue to Joy should be errected just what do you think the reaction should have been. That statement itself was in pisspoor/bad taste and a slap in the face of every City fan. What would be the inscription oh yes The woman that destroyed Coventry City. So start a collection and see how much you get.

Well, we could show a bit of dignity for a start..The hotheads on here and in the Trust are far more upset by a throwaway (if misjudged) comment by Tim Fisher that trying to really find out the root cause of the mismanagement of this club from all sides . Secondly, the trust and many people on here are ignoring the practical reality that Sisu are not just going to walk away, they probably will get the FL licence to play and either will do a deal with the Ricoh or somewhere else. You are not going to stop that with all the rabid posturing in the world.

I can see it now, the Trust statement: "Members of the Trust Board met with representatives of the Football League today. Although they didn't tell us a thing we didn't already know, it was useful to have dialogue..."

Followed by one an hour later saying DIE FOOTBALL LEAGUE, DIE?

Or something about them being in league (no pun intended) with SISU, the state of the game in general, Sky, etc etc

Followed by one an hour later saying DIE FOOTBALL LEAGUE, DIE?

Just looked at the proposed questions of the clique - Do they not understand it is utterly purile an exercise in utter futility to ask rhetorical questions or questions that implicitly will be financial confidential?

For example:

Please can you confirm how these requirements are proposed to be met by the new owners of CCFC?

Answer - There are guidelines for the league to follow and they will follow them. They cannot give confidential information to a third party at this time.

The club has been in dispute with its landlord but it has not, as the Club CEO continually asserts, been “locked out.” The owners of the Ricoh Arena remain keen for the team to play home games at the stadium and are ready to hold urgent discussions with the Club. The owners have chosen to ignore that and follow their planned relocation for reasons of their own, which have never been satisfactorily explained. It makes no sense to fans for the owners to risk the future of the club on a plan that has no clear basis, with no land purchased for their planned stadium no planning permission, therefore, no secure financial plan and, most importantly, no fan support and so - no income.

They are fully aware of this - pretty much everyone who e-mailed them have told them this information! What answer do you expect? Oh fook me your right we never thought of that!

Probable answer - we understand your concerns and will take these into consideration when we make our decision! - In other words - Yeah we know!

How can the Football League allow our club to be put at risk in this manner?

Probable Answer - we will never do anything to endanger the integrity of the league this is why we have F&P Test (or similar)!

Do the owners and directors meet the League’s requirements?

They already asked this - repeating themselves.

There is evidence that suggests the proposed new owner is nothing more than a shell company,: is that really the type of ownership that the Football League believes is in the best interests of football?

rhetorical question - They are hardly going to say they want dodgy owners!

We believe it is time that the football authorities urgently make efforts to protect the one thing that truly matters – the interests of the fans. Without them no club is viable

Probable answer - The FL acts in the best interests of all its members.

Basically it is going to be the fans forum all over again. It is a publicity stunt nothing more!

What do they expect the league to say? If it would have any impact on the decision process then fine - but it will not - never could!

Ultimately money drives the leagues. Having fixtures fulfilled fills the coffers. The Fl will not endanger that in any way shape or form that is a given.

But this is going to clearly be a wasted opportunity once more. Maybe I am wrong hopefully I am wrong and the league categorically state Otium aren't fit and proper - if so hats off to them. But if they come back with pretty much the standard text book answers (which is almost certainly going to be the case) Then what is the point of them?

Sure they raise publicity, but so what if it isn't achieving anything! Meeting Fl is fine, but I have been talking to bods at both the FA and the FL for well over 2 years now.

How else do you think I managed to get the confirmation out about the status of Ltd Before the clique? They aren't the only gig in town doing something. I seem to remember the no marks having a go at me for doing stuff far and beyond what the clique had ever done up until that time!

I just wonder would they have even had the meeting without the supporter's directguy going with them?

Somehow I very much doubt it

But hey let the brain deads and the sad acts think this is going to move things forward. Perhaps they could run another campaign they don't back!

You have to hand it to them, they certainly know how to fuck up a campaign that should have been a shoe in to get everyone on board with!

THe most hated owners of all time, charging just £1 per year, and still they can only muster less than 1/10 of the potential support of the club. There are even morons ranting and raving against people not supporting them, even though they aren't even members themselves!

Thats how pointless these people are!

Love how our membership percentage/fraction gets associated with different aspects of the City Support by certain individuals as it's increased. It's now only 1/10 of the potential fanbase. A few months ago it was only 20% of the then current fanbase. If/when we break the 10k barrier what will it be then? "You've only got 0.014286% (I think that's right!) of the population of the known world"!

The doctor says it's 50/50, but there's only a ten percent chance of that. ;)

Anyway CJ, any news from the FL? Hope springs eternal.

I've just got in and haven't had a chance to speak to those that were there. Was teaching all afternoon. I'm sure we'll put something out ASAP. Obviously some things maybe confidential but everything worthwhile mentioning that can be mentioned will be.
