It is with great reluctance that today the Sky Blue Trust accepted the resignation of their secretary, Roger Ellis.

Roger joined the Trust six years ago and has performed his secretarial, organisational and wider public duties with Supporters Direct for example, in exemplary fashion.

Roger has been dealing with very pressing family medical issues for some time as well as the heavy work load required from the Trust over recent months.

Additionally the intolerable level of personal insults and insinuations he has had to suffer in recent days now makes it impossible for him to continue in his position.
jeeesh! i would'nt work with them either if the trust were insulting him! well done Roger dont take shit from them

The bit of credit I will give the new guy is at least he's going to games. I don't expect us all to agree all of the time, but the childish parody accounts and blocking anyone who disagrees with you ala Johnson is embarrassing and tbh if I was on that board, I'd be tabling a motion of no confidence in him and asking him to resign.

The tide has defiantly turned on the trust on Facebook. even the resignation has been highly criticised

It really has ran its race-that is if the race really got started.
Could do a lot worse than get some of the LWCCFC involved-they are a bit of a force at the minute and have people’s backing and onside.

Seems we are doing something, indirectly if not directly. First the trust gets on board with the season ticket initiative after realising they'd placed themselves on the wrong side of that one. Now Ellis has gone. Knowl's poll might have had a big impact. Especially as they seem to treat it as a vanity project, the thought of losing all popularity seems to have made them shit themselves. I don't think it will reach as far as stopping Johnson from joining unfortunately. He's too far up his own arse as are the rest of the trust.

Don't get me started on David Johnson. We all know his colours are firmly nailed to the council mast. If that isn't a conflict of interest, I'm not sure what is.

Wouldn't be surprised if you were one of them the vile remarks they have been writing.

I’m not on the Facebook group but it’s interesting you ignore the select committee and it’s views on his conduct in Rochdale.

Haven't ignored it have made my views known the first time you brought it up this must be the 10th time at least it has been dragged up.

Thing is he has gone now so let's concentrate on the next one.

Let's not pretend the Trust is changing direction. Ellis might have resigned because his position individually is under question but the statement suggests otherwise. It's just a coincidence. Otherwise the Trust's very own Timmy continues unabated

Yes you said you didn’t know him and CJ couldn’t confirm if it was him

Poll: The trust - fit for purpose?
And I dont know him why should I?
Like I have said before may have spoken to him within a group of people but never spoken to him on a one to one basis.

I too am not happy with the direction the trust has taken.
Was adamant that I would not attend anymore meetings, but have been asked to attend the next one to support those trying to change the direction they have taken.
Still not made up my mind have really had enough of all the shit going on on all sides.

I think they are better off sticking with what they are doing, backing the manager and players and helping other supporters, and staying out of the politics.

True-and that is their policy really. Everyone has their own thoughts but the “supporters club” is not the stage to air them.

Oh dear Neil on Twitter:

Supported trust and the Sixfields boycott
Will not consider recommending wasps boycott
Praises wasps for creating atmosphere similar to a German football club sbd thinks we have lessons to learn from wasps strategy
Ginetta and wasps fan nomad think he’s on the right track

Interesting how he thinks Ann Lucas and the Council promising the Wasps sale wouldn't effect CCFC is "out of context" and his instant response is "shall I quote Tim Fisher for you?"

He can't stick to a story, he keeps contradicting. He has never watched or seen Wasps but they put on a better fan experience?

Also blaming CCFC for bad choices of Food and Drink while praising Wasps for theirs?

The more he tries to debate things, the more it shows he either doesn't have a clue or is blinded.

Somehow hes managed to fuck it up before he's actually joined. To be expected from anybody wanting to be part of that toxic lot though.

He is falling into the same trick of putting out the soundbytes that might sound good but then when he gets into a discussion just goes completely against all that.

How can anybody say a council leader repeatedly saying that CCFC won't be harmed or effected by the sale to Wasps is "taken out of context"?

He is already playing up to the strange accounts and I don't think he actually realises.

It clearly isn't out of context as it was said repeatedly and appears in the council's own minutes.

When I saw he was linked to Trinity Mirror I was concerned given the way the Telegraph have been throughout this shambles but wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. However before he's even attended one meeting he's very clearly nailed his colours to the mast and they are in line with the rest of the board.

Bloody hell, that Twitter thing, people older than me seem to get on with it, but I find it confusing. Signed up years ago and never use it. So many different people chipping in, then you click a conversation, but you only see half the story?

Who exactly is who on there anyway? Who's on the council, who's on the trust, who's creating the shit storms? Anybody be good enough to do a quick list (including the "parady" accounts as they seem to be dishing out the most grief) so we know who to "follow"?

He is thanking for Ginetta for his tweets of support against the trolls

Has this chap been following the big debate that CCFC WANT to sell their own F&B but it all goes to WASPs?

It doesn't look as if he has.

It's expensive and bad at CCFC which is CCFC's fault but Wasps have better food and drink.

He doesn't seem too clued up when it gets into discussions really and keeps contradicting things when questioned.
