WillyDo you long for the days of throwing derogatory racist terms around Willy nilly with not an eye brow raised?
I watched it when I was a youngster and i used to work with a black lad at the time we both thought it was funny, he used to call me a white honky and there was no offence meant or taken. I do not in any way shape or form condone all this racist shite that happens nowadays...so please dont cast any of that fucking shite my wayDo you long for the days of throwing derogatory racist terms around Willy nilly with not an eye brow raised?

Is there any old stuff you can just watch again and again and still find it enjoyable and entertaining to this very day?
Always find I can enjoy the old Colombo episodes. Just something about them that perpetuates my enjoyment.
Early Grange Hill with Tucker Jenkins
That scene in the Green Man pub on the Vauxhall rd in Liverpool summed up the timeShake hands
Remember this when I was very young ‘but watched it properly when it repeatedWhen the boat comes in was compulsive viewing for me as a youngster, who will have a fishy, on a little dishy, who will have a fishy, when the boat comes in.
Willy Nilly got used to it all around him in the end and now turns a blind eye to such nonsense.Do you long for the days of throwing derogatory racist terms around Willy nilly with not an eye brow raised?
I wonder what Til Death us do Part would look like these days. But you get your knickers in a twist when Mackems post stuff about Jimmy, I'm sure they're just having a laugh.
I'm really surprised at you defending it to be honest
Having a laugh in private with mates of a different race is totally different to saying things in public.
I've always been of the opinion that, Just like Alf Garnett the racist is made to look stupid so I can see the merit in your argument, but I'm not sure it has any place in this day and age.

You just had to refer to the season that includes 'Quarantine'
One of the great TV disappointments.Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) is proof that you should repeat tv shows and NEVER REDO them....
How can you replace Ronnie Barker? You can't.One of the great TV disappointments.
Likewise, Porridge. WTF??? Clement and Le Frenias wrote it but, maybe it was the casting. Didn't raise one titter.
To be fair, I quite enjoyed the 3 "missing" episodes of Dads Army that were remade.
I have always thought the same thing. I loved the Invaders and loved the theme tune too, which was very spooky for the time. The Invaders. Scared me when I was young. A remake would be good.
But it had Francoise Pascal

She made a couple of outstanding contributions to each episodeIm sure she was selected for her comedic ability. The teacher guy I’m sure was an unsolved murdered case
