I think if we did lose Keogh, it would be a massive blow.
For me, id happily get Freddy off the wage bill, and get some money for Clingan.

To be honest, I would be surprised if there were any takers for Eastwood, I'd be surprised if even SISU were stupid enough to sell Keogh, I'd be surprised if we got anyone else in. So, with regret, I'm out (of this thread).

West ham are sniffing around Keogh,, but im sure we will hold onto him,, Eastwood, Wood, Rod and Clarke maybe sent out on loan..

Keep hearing Hulse is one that is waiting to come in

I would think we need to keep Keogh above anyone else. We go on about Fox, Dann, King, Turner, etc but for me he's the best player we've had for a vey long time.

If they sell Keogh it'll be the most pissed off i've been since Robbie Keane went - and even then I was consoled by us getting £13mil to spend.

Anyway - I thought getting McPake out would mean a loan could come in? This is bullshit. Do SISU want to stay up or not?!

agreed bud, sadly i think he is the 'obvious' sale if we wanted quick cash

Did anyone see the interview with AT ahead of the B'pool game? He was not a bit happy at even the possibility of Keogh being sold and it sounded like he would almost consider his position if Keogh was to be sold. It sounds to me like he discussed with Fisher any players that may go to a point, either on loan, permanent etc. He said fringe players, you would expect those to include ROD, Eastwood, Clarke, possibly Cameron or Wood. Free up some cash. The likely players to come in (following on from the meeting) being Hulse and Trotta (Fulham).

AT the Q+A, AT said that Keogh is in talks over a new contract and Cranie wants to stay. He mentioned one player whose "head has been turned" and another who 2hasn't pulled his weight". He also said he wants to bring in 2 new strikers and "move on two boys who haven't really done it for us", BUT ONLY once the two new loan strikers are confirmed. He also enthused about Cody, saying he's had no pre-season but will be much better next year.

From this, I read that Eastwood and ROD are on the way out, with two loanees coming in first. Clingan may or may not go, and AT won't be too fussed if he does.

all of this really emphasises just how abysmal our owners are at;
1. understanding how a football club functions
2. having nothing as far as a business plan is concerned
3. treating their own invisible investors with contempt
4. hiring people to do a job they are not capable of
5. understanding CCFC football supporters
6. public relations
time to go methinks, leave with some sort of good grace, & don't embarrass yourselves further by putting up puppets who are only here for a 'quick buck'
