Him and Godden are going to be awesome. Mark my words.

How far away is Godden now? Couple of weeks?

He had a lot to do for that second goal and did really well to bury it.

I still think it is too early to judge him entirely, but he did well today. I'm not being negative, I just don't want us to get too far ahead of ourselves and pin our hopes on one guy too much.

Such a huge 3 points.

As I’ve said give him service he will do that every week 46 in 2 seasons before he came here

He’s easily our best striker his movement is on a different planet to the rest

Really happy with our striking options now walker is back. Godden on the horizon too.

Biamou was immense today, he made both goals with intelligent forward play. Dispite what some say he has done more than enough to justify being part of a championship squad. Think a few people can't see what he brings as it isn't too flashy.

Walkers movement and strikers instinct are what we have lacked in the last month

Gyo was handy when he came on. Held stuff up, played smart whilst 2 goals up. Did some great tracking back as he has shown in his recent sub appearances

Baka did OK shame we couldn't have loaned him out. He'd really benefit from games which we are not in a position to give him

I didnt think Viktor looked that good today not that I'm complaining because WE GOT 3 BEAUTIFUL POINTS

Actually though he was better against Norwich than he was today. Sometimes looks mobile and like he could be a classy target man. Others he looks the slowest player on the pitch. Still early days though.

When we signed him I thought he would be to lightweight for the championship but he's starting to prove me wrong, the understanding with max seems to be improving by the game so we'll spotted by Robins and adi.

Walker had a stuttering start when he joined don’t think he was 100% fit and then got COVID and injured, early days yet but I think fully fit and with a regular partner up front he’ll be okay took his chance well, sniff of a chance and put the shot in and scored hopefully be a much needed boost to his confidence

He knows how to put the ball in the back of the net and he will only get better the second goal yesterday he didn't even take a look up a the goal he instinctively knew where it was that's the difference you get with a natural goal scorer

Wasn't he scoring at a similar rate to Toney in league 1 last season? Could have easily finished top scorer if he'd have stayed all season. Glad we have him, he'll prove to be an excellent signing.

For anyone bored this morning. Video of all his Lincoln and Mansfield goals. As you can see, alot of variety. We need to supply him more

He sure was great bit of business signing him even if the worst happened if we could keep him next season he would get us 20+ goals in league one

Good player.

Biggest key to it is 2 up top for me. Haven’t got it in us for 1 as we aren’t up the field enough. With 2 it sticks up there longer and we can get forward.

100% this.

If we can bring in a better version of Biamou in the summer I’ll be very happy with our options up front.
His goal scoring stats for us despite being injured for most of the season is pretty decent.

He’s top scorer having played in at least ten games less than those around him. The guy is a finisher and will get 15-20 a season at this level if he played a full season.

James Collins on a free partnered with either Tyler Walker/Godden gets u goals in this division

I said a few days ago that if one of Godden or Walker had been fit the whole season I think we'd be quite comfortably clear of relegation, and if they'd both been fit the whole time then we could easily be 13th-15th, somewhere around there.

Makes such a difference to have a proper striker with proper movement.

He averages 180 odd mins per goal. That's right up there and would be 20+ goals over the season

Controversial opinion here. I think that Max would be better with one of them. They are both finishers but neither (I stand to be corrected) create much. Max creates opportunities for players that can do what he cannot.

Usually health warning about the assists stat, but Godden is the only player other than O’Hare to have more than one assist this season.

I think they have different strengths. Godden was good last season because he can hold it up and bring others into play, while also being an excellent finisher.

I don’t think the difference in overall quality between Max and Godden is small enough to bring Max in for his other benefits. But I would like to see a Championship quality version of Max next season to partner/rotate with Walker and Godden with Max as 4th choice.

I agree that someone who can hold the ball up; fights for the ball and flicks on like Max but can also score would be optimal. Not averse to trying Walker/Godden but I suspect that both of those would do better with Max assuming current personnel.
