That bottom one!
Another impressive result for our U16s who beat Leicester 4-2 this morning
U18s in Holland:
Sparta Rotterdam (Saturday)
U18s lost 3-1 to Feyenoord on Friday.
With a CCFC fan in Holland this morning:
Also U16s beat Walsall 8-1 yesterday. Likes of Ngandu, McCann, B.Rowe playing in their own age group because didn't go on tour
Our under 18s play Sparta Rotterdam tomorrow afternoon before flying home in the evening.
The game will take place in Sparta Stadion Het Kasteel, "The Castle" which is their 11,000 seater 1st team ground.
Now if we got an entrance like that at the Butts I’d be all for it.
U23s second game tomorrow away at Birmingham (2pm)
U18s begin their PDL North title defence against Hull on Saturday (noon)
U18 squad for 2017/18:
Lewis Green (C)
Blaine Rowe (DEF)
Charlie McCann (MID)
Jonathan Ngandu (MID)
U23s at Blues: Corey Addai, Dion Kelly-Evans (C), Reece Ford, Jordon Thompson, Chris Camwell, Tom Bayliss, Callum Maycock, Jordan Shipley, Devon Kelly-Evans, Jordan Ponticelli, Kwame Thomas
what time is kick off hope ponti does well
Unlike you I'm a true supporter, I hope they all do well.
5-2 win for the U23s away at Birmingham. Camwell, Ponticelli (2), Ford and Kwame Thomas on the scoresheet
Blues short of strikers - hope Harry wasn't watching Ponticelli !
im team ponti at the moment lol love see youth get a chance this kid def has something about him, bags 2 goals hes the man at the moment in the youth team!
U18s go down 2-1 to Hull in their opening game. Few players out with injury. McMahon with the goal
U16s beat Hull 6-1
Heard someone talking about the U18 game yesterday when at the Ricoh-said Hull were the better team and Cov had nothing up front?
Music to your ears then.
I didn't go myself but told the same from someone who was there. Will be a challenging season I think, last years group was really strong (form bulk of U23s side this season as 18 year olds) and most of the goals came from Ponticelli and Finn who are professionals now
Highlights from the U23s 5-2 win at Birmingham. Blues keeper looks dodgy for a big lad to say the least:
Some very soft goals there for sure.
That's where I was coming from-goals may be a problem(as that chap was saying) now that JP has stepped up.
U23s against Leeds looking to build on their 100% record from their opening two games (1pm):
Addai, Hickman, Ford, Thompson, Camwell, Maycock (C), Bayliss, Shipley, Dev Kelly-Evans, Ponticelli, Thomas
Bench: Naylor (GK), Finn, Sayoud, Leahy
6 of last seasons U18s starting.
No DiKE possibly part of first team squad tomorrow or loan move confirmed soon?
No RCC either?
1 up OG
Get him on the plane.....to Yeovil!
Shades of '87
Mark Robins will be like
Better off supporting them!
3 out of 3 for the U23s, played the last 10 minutes with 10 men because of Kwame injury. Majority of last years U18 side who dominated their league now performing well and winning games at the level up with probably the youngest squad in the league.
3 goals in 3 games for Ponticelli. Hopefully might get a start against Shrewsbury on Tuesday with Kwame seemingly injured again
If it was a head injury Kwame is likely to be stood down for a week at least
£4 adults, £2 concessions. Game to be played on Monday 15th Feburary at 7pm.
Sambou bags a brace, and a general...
Does anyone know if there is a live stream for tonight's youth cup game?
U18s in the FA Youth Cup tonight down Nuneaton... could see some goals - £3 entry....
Now that the U18s season has finished I thought I'd post this.
