The U23s drew 2-2 with Huddersfield at the Ricoh yesterday. Billy Stedman and Jordan Ponticelli on target
The club have had Jordan Clarke (Birmingham City) and Chris Paul (QPR) on trial in recent weeks but we’re not signing either. Farndon has said there is an ongoing recruitment drive for the 23s as they need to strengthen in some positions.
I have always thought our recruitment from other clubs post U16 and U21/U23 has needed improvement. Majority of the lads we take from Category 1 clubs end up being released
