Enjoyed that today. Blimey there’s some tall lads in that squad. Couple in there that looked useful, although none of them disappointed. The lads up front were causing lots of problems, and some good goals scored. Quite a few there watching.

oh, and very harsh pen given. The lad got the ball, the ref looked As though he had no chance of seeing the tackle, with players between him and the ball (I think)

I’d be surprised tbh. Maybe Howley if he develops a bit more personality and arrogance.
What a ridiculous, negative thing to say… why does someone need to become arrogant and ( like you know him ! ) have more personality…to progress… perhaps a football brain, technical ability, a winning mentality and hard work might carry him through despite people like you knocking them for no good reason !

The 6-0 score in the away game was a poor reflection on the team. The game kicked off at the KC straight after Hull’s first team had played so there wasn’t much chance for a warm up. Our players also had to get changed a fair distance from the stadium and walk through the streets to get there.

Yesterday there were a lot of very good performances. Howley, Ngandu and McGrath were outstanding. Tavares played well, produced a decent finish and played a very good ball through to Howley for his first. McGrath’s goal is well worth watching. Great Ngandu cross met with an equally good diving header. It was probably one of the most one sided games I’d ever watched and 6-1 flattered Hull. The penalty was down the other end to where I was standing but it looked very harsh.
