1996 Loved it

1998 probably peak tournament for me, I was 16 so good age. Decent England team. Was gutted by how we went out

2000 pretty dull, bad England display

2002 got a written warning for coming in late to my job. The early starts ruined it a bit but did enjoy the football.

2004 Rooney made that one

2006 at Uni, fun times.

2008 No England, honestly no memory of that one

2010 didn't enjoy it, England were really bad

2012 not much recollection, had a young baby so didn't help!

2014 England crap again, were some good matches. Germany humping Brazil was a shocker

2016 still traumatised by Iceland

2018, 2020, 2022 all interesting as England did ok

1988 would’ve been an interesting one. I watched a load but was then packed off to Totnes to stay with a family as part of the Swimming club I was in. Missed the last week of the tournament as they weren’t into football! Missed THAT Van Basten goal!!!

16 teams was the best format but UEFA would never go back. I honestly think they should just go to 32. It's only 8 more teams. Teams wouldn't need to play more fixtures and it would give some smaller nations a stage. The lesser fancied teams have brought the fun this tournament after all.

Might even speed up the qualifying process.

First and foremost, is how well England get on. The deeper they get, the better it is for me personally.

Otherwise, entertaining matches and teams! Euro 2012, 2016 & 2020 were fun and of course 2018 where for a moment we believed we could get to the final. 2022 was genuinely gutting and put me off getting a ST for our playoff run season. I was in a ‘football depression’ for a bit after Kane blazed that penalty over. At least with Euro 2020 I had the summer to get over myself.

Any team that goes out of our side of the bracket will see this tournament as a missed opportunity to potentially win a major final, it’s wide open and outside of Spain (and Germany to a lesser extent), everyone looks vulnerable.

As average and uninspiring as we’ve been, this is a fantastic opportunity if we can get our act together.

Glad Austria are getting beat by Turkey, was getting sick of people hailing them as dark horses. Did excellently in the group but were fortunate to beat the Dutch.

Just as Tifo did a video on ‘Can Austria win the Euros?’ No…

Why did they make England fans have low % beer but there's been a fair few instances of cups being thrown on?
