Anyone else not feeling at all happy, despite the win?

That was awful. We were very, very, very lucky and only seconds away from going out

I feel relieved, but incredibly disappointed and am not feeling an ounce of happiness.

Worst outcome of this is, Kane will be picked again next time and Southgate will still be the manager.

We just don't look a good side at all. Disjointed, lopsided, bereft of ideas.

Walker was very poor and so too, Trippier. Rice just doesn't seem to be the same player, nor Foden, nor Kane.

Mainoo, I thought was a bright shining light. I think he's going to be a great player for England.

I like the look of Eze too.

He's lost his mind

England boss Gareth Southgate, speaking to BBC Sport: "I'm so proud of the players and the spirit the lads showed. Everybody we put into the game played a part and helped us get over the line. They are all pushing and helping each other and tonight, that made the difference."

On Jude Bellingham: "Fantastic. We were thinking should we take him off, but you know he is capable of those sorts of moments. We know in the game itself we needed to better with the ball, we couldn’t find the right solutions in the first half and we did it better in the second.

"Under that pressure they kept probing. In the end it is the old fashioned long throw that gets the goal, those moments can happen when you keep wearing a team down."

On Harry Kane: "He is an extraordinary goal scorer, he is leading the team so well. He has been exceptional as a captain keeping the ship steady.

"He has been through it before and nights like tonight are which the younger ones will refer back to as that is what happens in tournaments.
England manager Gareth Southgate, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "I had a funny feeling the game wasn't dead and I know that sounds ridiculous. We were pushing and probing.

"Ultimately it is the one we have thrown in the box that got us the goal."

On Jude Bellingham's sublime goal: "With 15 minutes to go you wonder if he is out on his feet. Him and Harry Kane produce those moments and that is why you don't makes changes when people are clamouring for more changes. We had enough attacking players on the pitch."

Why do people who supposedly don’t care about England insist on telling you 500 times a day about how they don’t care about England?

Yup

That's pretty deluded.
'That is why you don't make changes when people are clamouring for more changes'

In other words, we don't know how to break any teams down at this tournament and are hoping for individual brilliance to carry us through.

I suppose one question is would you rather win ugly or lose beautifully

Now it’s up to Southgate to show some attacking intent , I would start with Toney and Kane up front

Pretty incredible comments

More from England manager Gareth Southgate, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "We felt that Bukayo [Saka] at left-back gave us an extra attacking outlet. It is a good option to have. I have to say the courage shown by the players was fantastic tonight."

On the quarter-final against Switzerland being his 100th match in charge of England: "That's neither here nor there. We haven't come to get to a quarter-final but to get through a night like tonight was fantastic character and we now play a Swiss team that have been very good. We have a couple of days to recover and get ready for them."

Georgia are just so fun to watch. As soon as they get the ball their only though is to run as fast as they can directly towards the goal.
Because funnily enough football's meant to be about scoring goals. Southgate's forgotten that a long time ago, Georgia haven't

This is a great game to watch, Georgia showing Spain are vulnerable to the quick break, still think Spain will win though

Totally agree with everything you say.

However, I would imagine the more games you play in a tournament, the more player cohesion you have in a side.
Doesnt that apply to all teams in this tournament. God knows what the Germans will be like by the final.
