Got penalties written all over it, hasn't it.
Managers should be able to come together and agree to just bypass extra time if neither are going to bother.

I like the idea of having the pens first and then extra time after. If ET is drawn the winner of the pens goes through but the losing team on pens can win it by winning extra time. Gives them some impetus.

Rio defending playing a poor Ronaldo for 120 mins because “pens are around the corner”

If they’d played Ramos or felix earlier it might not have got this far.

Think Murphy is being overly harsh on Felix with that header, that’s a hard angle and he’s just been thrown on for last 15 mins having played only 90 mins all tournament

At least he gambled on far post and made it a chance

What’s the average number of goals per game in this tournament versus previous I wonder

Feels like a shit load of 0-0s and 1-1s etc

Just looking - Portugal have won 5 knockout games in 90 minutes since Euro 2004. That’s just baffling.

I couldn't bare it if Portugal do a 2016 and win it being shit the whole way through. The Ronaldo cream would be too much.

Dembele had such bad luck with injuries, he’d have been a top player otherwise (still a very good player but even better)
