I actually thought Julian Darby added something to our team, and is a rare example of a CCFC goalscoring midfielder in my lifetime.

I was also a Julian Darby fan, a long way down our best midfielders list but we have had far worse and he didn't really cost anything. Perhaps wasnt the most robust, but always seemed to put the effort in.
I remember one game where a fan typically was having ago at him. Another fan turned round a few rows down and said, "he's having a great game mate you've just got the wrong point of view. He is doing some great work, it must be that pillar you are sat behind its blocking your view."
