Just spoke to their ticket office people in mk centre and they've told me that the top tier will be on sale Tuesday afternoon after they have a safety certificate issued. They are currently taking bookings but not allocating seats . They also told me they may release another 1000 tickets to ccfc as they are prepared to open more blocks in the lower tier.they are anticipating 6500 away fans either way.

We are the sky blue army and we back our team under correct conditions.

thats quite unusual surely? surely you want as many home fans as possible (from mk point of view)

I don't think they ever sell out their home allocation, hence they are happy to sell more away tickets. The lower tier is 22k capacity and the record attendance vs QPR 19,506 when QPR took 5k. They are extending to the upper tier to increase capacity to 32k. If they are looking to open the upper tier of the North Stand safety certificate pending, does this increase capacity past 22k or not?

In a ground that holds 30,700 and home support that averages 8000 you may as well make hay while the sun shines and sell as many £20 tickets to away fans as you can. City fans tickets plus F & B could net MK circa £150,000 on this game alone.

Well yeah, it will be 22,000 + whatever is needed of the top tier so maybe 23,000. To be fair, the 19,506 against QPR couldn't have held many more. When you take away segregation, the stadium holds 20,000ish.
