Vacancy - Junior Groundsman (1 Viewer)

Would be a good career for a youngster, look at the guy in charge of Leicester's ground now!

I know you're joking but I always thought it was odd that we had to maintain the Ricoh pitch at our own cost after paying £1.2m a year rent but got nothing if ACL hired it out for other games.
And x amount of concerts fucking up the pitch!

john letwidge, fine fellow & good groundsman,
a real shame a CCFC fan was poached because of our owners myopic view of how football works,
same as our old ticket manager was lifted from CCFC to work for the vile,
& just as a point to note, why,
when a man was videoing fans who were chanting 'sisu out' last night @ n'thampton game,
did a steward who was just in front of a friend of mine say to the videoer, 'make sure we get all of those'
are CCFC fans not allowed to express an opinion ?

& ref the OP post for the vacancy for a jnr groundsperson @ ryton pitches,
my earlier post was,
'must be capable of digging footings'
this refers to the foundation requirements for houses,
i just thought i needed to clarify my weak attempt at pathos,

He went because he worked for ACL and got a better job at Leicester didn't he?
So which one is it?
He worked for City we maintained the pitch, or worked for ACL and they maintained the pitch?

Not sure what is confusing, he worked for CCFC then ACL. He has also worked for villa I think.
So ACL poached him first why didn't you say that.
Oh yes I remember now when we went to Northampton.
