we didn't play our best 11 players in their best positions today and got punished.

We can argue all day about the quality of what we have, but we didn't even give ourselves a chance today.

a darn sight better than it was a few weeks ago

after today, its a miracle we aren't in the bottom 4
Looking at fixtures we may return there by Xmas. :( Upcoming MK fixture is virtually a must win game.

Most on here now seem to think he is not the man to get the job, but he says he wants it, so guess we will be stuck with him at least until the summer now

I agree -can't see us brining in a new manager between now and Jan. If things are looking really dire by mid-Feb, as with SP, we might make an emergency "save the day" change but otherwise we will keep MV until May I am sure.

Yeah however much I want a experienced manager, I doubt Venus has had a pay rise yet for taking over as manager.
The results have got better, besides the last 3 games against 2 out of 3 possible promotion favourites, Oxford proved a hard team to beat at ricoh too.
I think , from the Bolton display, he is learning so I'm not overly worried if he stays till may, this season looks to be a write off already anyways
