Don't worry, he just needs time to gel
He'll be like David Bryant - Going about his business, casually chuffing on a pipe.I reckon if he can play like that on a ploughed field like that, he’ll be unstoppable on our bowling green pitch
Like it!Hap, hap happy happy happy torp du du du du
wins the ball in our midfield
Robins had a dream
to get him in our team
and then we’re gonna have our dreams come true
Happy Talk - Captain Sensible
(Yes, I’ve had a few, but saw this on TV earlier and thought it might fit)
Been happening for a while that the songs picked are shite.I have never known us to be in such a precarious position. It’s one I think we will struggle to get out of.
We have lost our 2 main songs and we are no where near with acceptable replacements.
Despite about a dozen new faces I’m really disappointed with our weak efforts to welcome them by song.
Come on you melodic City fans, start hitting those high notes.

Definitely and when O'Hare goes. The only decent chant we have is Palmers.Been happening for a while that the songs picked are shite.
Sakamoto's for instance. Just rubbish.

I think he still needs time to fit in and learn. Think he will be used of the bench for sometime yet (but may be proved wrong if he learns quickly).
Players that score on their debut often go on to disappoint. So for me it is far too early to judge or get carried away But he does look like he has some good attributes, but let's give him time and let's not expect too much too soon.
Bit of a mixed bag here: Goalscoring debuts at Coventry City
Let’s hope he’s more Keane than Hughes.
Because some have unusual names that rhyme with fook allWould love to know why some players get a song day one and others wait years.
I've had my Phil of this rubbish.
Can tell he’s a playerGive Torp 3 months and he will be as good a midfielder as we've had for many years.
Spacial awareness looks really goodTorp did well when he came on tonight, especially considering that he appeared to be pulling pints in the Stella Bar at half time.
Can tell he’s a player
When he’s fully up to speed he’ll be great for usShowed a little bit of everything, did most things well. Revving the crowd up on your home debut is a good look as well.
Noticed that as well. Was trying to organise things.I liked the fact he was very vocal when he came on and was trying to orchestrate the game. Not always easy for a young new player at a club to do that.
Obviously, still very early but you can clearly see his potential.
To Ghost ridersHas Collins got a song?
You mean we've got two Bowie look-a likes in the squad?!?Bristol commentators kept mistaking Eccles and the Topedo so I have no idea how either of them played after tbe subs.
Just wondering if that discipline is already there? He knows how to communicate. Read the mood on the pitch and in the crowd as well. He has his chance to make a difference now. Is he a captain in the making?Looked really good last night.
Calm and confident on the ball, comfortable in tight situations, able to pick a pass and was good in the tight 1-2s as well.
Don't think he'd be as disciplined as Sheaf or Eccles so whoever is playing with him (Eccles in the coming weeks) is probably going to have to hold a little deeper than he naturally would.
