My problem is identifying what Torp is. Not a midfielder really. Not a forward. Can’t play wide, deep or central. Which pushes him into a very niche role. And he isn’t good enough to have a role carved out for him. For me he’s basically Kasey Palmer with a bit more consistency.

I see him and Rudoni as two 8s in a three who can form part of a defensive shape and then break / spread the play to push us up the field and then join the attack.

I think with this squad, this is would be our strongest system. 4-3-3 Sheaf or Eccles sitting and Rudoni and Torp as two 8s and drop the number 10.

I hyped him up massively before the season but he is infuriating. Never seen a 'Number 10' so static. Zero movement. Doesn't carry the ball.

Like others in this side, there's clear talent there but he's offering very little.

Not seen it at all with him until the last two, starting to play some really good balls. The cross first half and the ball for MvE for our second in particular today.

Been very critical of him but have to say he’s done very well recently. Played a serious amount of minutes and has shown some bite and tactical nous. Keep it up Sloth man.

He's getting better and better, this formation suits Torp and Allen. Can't really say we've missed Sheaf that much, which proves how well the midfield have coped. We just need to add a little composure on the ball and retain possession better and we'll be flying up the league.

Still unsure. Some quality delivery and can certainly pick a pass and a cross. But they are flashes and moments rather than a performance. Still looks leaden footed in normal play. But he does have quality in delivery.

We haven’t missed Sheaf at all. Moving the ball so much quicker and hitting teams on the counter which suits the attacking players we have.
