He played his best game of the season so far today, but he's still got a way to go, he was blowing out of his arse half way through the second half, and could of picked up a second yellow at any minute, he also could possibly of done better for the equaliser when he was caught ball watching. (I'm not saying he was at fault, but could of done better)

But he has a great range of passing, and he's still improving and getting better, so I'm sure we'll stick with him.

He doesn't need to "shut anyone up" he just needs to continue to work on his fitness and strength then he'll be a real asset.
I agree - definitely a long way to go but no reason to believe he won't get there at this stage

It just does my head in how determined some seem to be for these players to fail

Eccles does the not so glamorous role. he runs, he tackles and that’s it. he does a job. passing can be misplaced at times but he does a job. we don’t expect 40 yard balls or killer passes but he always gives 100%

Ridiculous disrespect for a very good midfielder.

Don't think what he said is far off tbh and that is not a dig at Eccles at all

I'm rarely wowed watching Eccles but he does a job and is a capable Championship midfielder and you need players like that

Eccles was the worst of midfield 3 today? Not that it.makes him bad but I wouldn't be looking to drop torp anytime soon
Well one is definitely missing out when Sheaf returns, Rudoni wont be dropped, and we know how much MR rates Eccles.

Becoming to increasingly look like Robins has no confidence in him, captain hindsight but may have got a draw if we subbed one of the CMs

Said this on Saturday. Use of subs is poor. Swapping GK's without clear error is unusual in football, as is leaving two midfielders on who are on bookings because it leaves no one who can take one for the team like Eccles could have if he weren't on thin ice

Sakamoto was an excellent player up until his serious injury last season.

It looks as if he hasn’t recovered mentally from that. I don’t know if he will ever get his confidence back but I sincerely hope that he does. His latest setback won’t have helped.

It will be a crying shame if he never gets back to what he was but that would just be one of those things that happen. It certainly wouldn’t make him a woeful signing.

I think Torp has shown signs of being a good player. I still think he needs to improve his stamina, strength and speed. If he can do that he can be a good player for us.

Not sure he’s been unlucky, just doesn’t have the physicality to cope. He’s barely contributed in his time here really.
If playing poorly, your word's then how about That Rudoni got the same treatment on Saturday and a Fk awarded against, sort it out and stop accepting it,if that referee doesn't get awarded a minus mark from us then it's our own fault, get some ball's on the sideline?

New country, culture, language, a couple of bad injuries and still 7 goals plus assists and lots of entertainment in getting people off seats for a change. I wish others had contributed as much. I can only assume this is another iteration of one of the Boosh or Greggs troll accounts.

Torp is a poor signing for me. Ponderous and unable to cope with the cut and thrust of the Championship. Sakamoto is definitely not in that bracket for me.

I think it is more to do with the fact he has become too predictable in what he does. Always cutting back l onto his favourite left foot and defenders are anticipating it. He needs to mix it up and keep them guessing because he can cross with both feet. There were signs starting to show even before his back injury.

He can cross with both feet and needs to start doing it rather than trying to beat the man twice every time..

I think Robins not bringing Torp on for one of the CMs cost us the point on Saturday. Eccles on a card couldn't pull the man back to stop the attack. I'd like to think even if Andrews was on in Eccles' place he'd of had the thought to take the cynical yellow.

The amount of turning down opportunities halfway through the passing sequence is poor from all midfield!
