We get 10% of Sporting's profit, was 15% but we sold 5% early to sign BTA and Bassette.
And 10% of what we've already received. So it's already in the millions but rarely gets mentioned. That’s only 10% of our 10%.
Not exactly but for us 9% of fee minus what we have already received.Does anyone know what the sell on amount would be if vik moved?
yeah, i think Sporting Club brought that out in the original dealBrighton's share has already been paid, no?
Remember something in the deal about that.
Ahh lovely the deja vu thread is back!
We get 10% of Sporting's profit, was 15% but we sold 5% early to sign BTA and Bassette.
They spent roughly £21mill (€24mill). If they sell him for €100mill we will get €7.6mill (£6.4mill at todays exchange rate). If they sell him for €80mill we get €5.6mill (£4.7mill at todays exchange rates).
Also from this you can imply that our value of BTA and Bassette was £3.2mill - £4.1mill which I'd say roughly tracks as good business.
Some beans.Does anyone know what the sell on amount would be if vik moved?
Only marginally less than what Watford paid for a 17 year old John Barnes in 1981. Allegedly, a set of shirts and (maybe) a net of training balls...Some beans.
What is the cost I wonder and out of what income it comes?Schalke's average gate is 61 k , two other sides in the German 2 nd tier have average gates of 50 k plus and 4 others have an average of 40 k .

Buzzing. I’ve been desperate for this argument to start again.

Last paragraph is saying Sporting will pay the sell on Brighton and it was €2.2m. Which suggests either an 11% sell on or 10% with a bit accounting for sell ons.
That was my understanding but it's a bit strange as King said:
“Viktor has gone crazy in terms of how he has performed," King told talkSPORT. "That was a tough negotiation with Sporting Lisbon and if he does move on to somewhere else in his career then we will benefit. I’m not holding my breath. We are not running the club on that basis, but we will take it.
“A large part of that will go to his original club Brighton, everyone seems to think it will go straight in the coffers but it will go down the chain. You need to be bringing them up from your academy to get the full 100 per cent.”
There chances would be significantly better. In the back of my mind Arteta will find a way to balls things up.Surely this has got to be Arsenal’s chance. City blown it, Forest to eventually start to falter and can Liverpool continue their form? Looks like only Arsenal as real competition. Sign a striker (hopefully Vik) and they stand an excellent chance of overtaking Liverpool.
What makes you suggest Forest are about to falter, they look stronger than ArsenalSurely this has got to be Arsenal’s chance. Not once they sign Vik!What makes you suggest Forest are about to falter, they look stronger than Arsenal

To be fair to him he’s reinvested most of fees that have come in for players since he’s been here.Makes no difference what the sell on fee to us is because Razor sharp Doug won't fucking spend any on new players !

To be fair mine was more of a tongue in cheek remark about not signing any new players this transfer window, poking fun at the 'other posters' in a sarcastic manner!Have you and a bunch of other posters drank some kind of Facebook kool aid? It's like bots on Youtube posting comments about soy boys and pegging.
King: spends more than 100% of the Vik and Hamer fees across three transfer windows.
Fans: King won't spend fees we get on new players! Doug Bling is pocketing the money.

I maintain he would score for fun in the BundesligaI love Vik he's a great player, Premier league clubs are hesitant to buy him though. It's either they think the buy out is going to come down as he's too expensive or they think he might not be the style of player to suit top end teams. The Portuguese league isn't the best to prove yourself in if you want to play in the Prem, always thought he would end up in Italy which suits his style, they like a combative physical striker.
