Lameries has a £50m release clause - they are there just for some legal specifics in Portugal
True although I imagine there is a real chance of gyokores having his triggered if sporting want to negotiate hard

But the podcast suggest sporting have already agreed with vik that they are happy for him to go as long as they get what they want which isn't necessary the release clause amount

Sorry to bring this up again, but... I hadn't realised Brighton would also get a bit of the money we'd get for Vik?

Think they had a 10% sell on so they’d get 10% of whatever we get due to our sell on clause.

He’s the complete forward player; strength, stamina, speed, finishing, aerial ability, quick feet and ruthless. What sets him in possible legendary territory is how many assists he gets on top of his goal tally.

It’s amazing to watch his trajectory now, and I remember us all saying that if he could be consistent and improve 1v1’s, he’d be world class.

Seems we were right! 🩵

Arsenal would be the best fit for him in terms of style of play.
He'd thrive on the balls the brilliant Odegaard plays through the channels.

Sporting taken a bit of a nose dive since the manager left. Viktor not scoring as much. They need to start performing again so he can start popping the ball in the back of the net.

I get why people think he'd be mad to go to Man United but I would imagine they are still a huge draw for players and managers status wise. Also driven types like Amorim and Vik probably fancy their chance to be the one to get a club like that back on course. Got to be a more interesting project than somewhere entirely soulless like PSG.

There's still this misconception in the media and some people's minds that United are the powerhouse they used to be. Yes they are a big club off the field. But on it they are distinctly average and have been for years. Amorim has said himself they are not a "big team".

No player playing at the peak of their power and at the top levels will consider signing for United, until they are back at the top table. Going to take them a couple of seasons at the very least.

Zirkzee is their type of signing currently. Decent enough player with good stats but playing for a team that isn't already challenging for top honours.

Viks next 2/3 seasons will be his peak. He isn't going to waste them playing for no-hopers.

They lost again last night. He’s only scored 2 penalties in the 5 games with the new manager
