Vinyl is now bigger than streaming

Not only are vinyl music sales on the rise, but it is the biggest growing music platform for the first half of 2015.

Vinyl sales increased by 52% year-on-year to $222 million - which is $60 million more than ad-supported streaming services, according to the Recording Industry Association of America.

Tesco has become the first UK supermarket to stock vinyl, beginning with the release of Iron Maiden's new album The Book Of Souls earlier this month.

Spookily I'm wearing my "Vinyl Rules" T-shirt today....

I have loads of vinyl stacked in my garage at present.......my Marantz/Technics deck, amp, tuner & tape deck are preciously bubble-wrapped in the loft.....

....just waiting a couple more years until my kids are old enough not to fuck it all up like they nearly did last time I left it unattended.....
