Who's carrying the most exccfc player's these days, I don't think he'll be out of work too long! You are assuming Adi didn't just decide to leave? That he didn't just fancy a change? Or a host of other reasons why he might want to move on or step aside? But change happens. Sometimes new impetus is good otherwise things stagnate.
"If it's not broke why fix it?" But are we not looking to buy better players?
The guy in the middle I think is Mark Robbings although I maybe wronggold star for anyone who can name them all and know what their job is

I have said on a previous post that providing he did not leave of his own volition. Sorry, my observation was a continuation if he didn't want to leave. I believe the silence from the club makes this more likely. You are assuming Adi didn't just decide to leave? That he didn't just fancy a change? What utter drivelI have said on a previous post that providing he did not leave of his own volition. Sorry, my observation was a continuation if he didn't want to leave. I believe the silence from the club makes this more likely.
I will be the first to hold my hands up if my speculation (and it is just speculation) is wrong.
Again, I am now surmising, but why is the club information so abrupt and uninformative. Like someone said, everyone leaving gets a glowing send off (see Boddy).
Of course we are continuously improving the playing staff to date, although finance may restrict this if we don't get promoted.
If you have an incredibly successful coach who has improved virtually every player we have bought, I would not take a gamble at this stage on two new coaches with potential rather than extensive experience. That is my take on it and I hope to be proven wrong.
Sorry to bring politics into this. Change can be incredibly good, but as an example, look at Gove who instigated massive change at every department he took charge of, to the detriment of that department.
That depends on the circumstances under which he left and if he works again during that 3yd period.Let’s be honest Viveash is laughing all the way to the bank. Doug will have had to pay him his contract so he’s probably just had roughly 3 years wages up front.
You had never heard of ViveashWhat's Rhys Carrrrrrr good at? I've never heard of him .

Yes I already did and now I'm not!It doesn't quite work like that. But he certainly won't need to rush to find a post, even if he hasn't already.
Think that squad will struggle. Though looks like we've upgraded the keeper.
Oh my fucking godQuite a contrast between the clubs statement on Godden and the statement on Viveash …. Those that feel there is nothing amiss here have their eyes shut.
Yep your already thin argument looks totally shambolic now.Oh my fucking god
If it ain't broke don't fix it. We have had continuous success since Adi arrived and the last step to the Prem is the most difficult. If our players had gelled earlier last season after so many changes, we would have gone up. In the event, we were a whisker away from the FA Cup final. What same results are you talking about?
Four Wembley trips including a play off final? Some of the best performances we have seen in years? Two forwards scoring 19 goals each? Turning Vik from a lost soul to an awesome player. Getting the best out of Hamer and a fit O'Hare?
Our new coaches may be better, (and I hope they are), but Adi is a proven winner at Chelsea and here. Nothing but success all the way through.
Of course some people are never satisfied and think they can improve with change. I would not rule it out that we will improve, but would not take the gamble. Incidentally, I think we will go up this season but feel we would have anyway.
This feels to me like the Hull sacking when they were nearly there. Owners who wont play a long game and demand instant success. Don't think for a minute this will happen but just look at Birmingham.
Adi told Mourinho he would not change at Chelsea and he remained successful. That is called having the courage of your convictions.
Pure speculation, but I feel Adi would likely say the same to any new employees at the club.
But why should we care if there is an issue? It happens.Quite a contrast between the clubs statement on Godden and the statement on Viveash …. Those that feel there is nothing amiss here have their eyes shut.

And you definitely know it was the club's decision? Why do I care ?
Not because we need someone to blame
Not because it won’t work or is a mistake
My concern is only the risk of change. We are swapping a proven successful combination of Robins and Viveash for 2 unproven coaches and Robins.
To take that risk the club must have had a compelling reason and I’m curious as to what it is and I don’t buy it’s the reason we have been told.

Trouble is so many people are clutching at theories when they actually don't know? There might be a complexity of reasons? But people seem to want somebody to blame?
The reality is what has happened has happened and it is done. So we move on and try and progress.
TBF this thread is like reading one of those facebook groups about that jay slater thats gone missing. Some weird obsession with blame hunting in society of late. Its fascinating to read.
And you definitely know it was the club's decision?
Who is the guys looks to be in his 50s stood next to MR? He seemed to be the one leading the changing room celebration after the Wolves win
John Dempster, former footballer, he is the kitman. He grew up on the same street as my dad in Dudley.Who is the guys looks to be in his 50s stood next to MR? He seemed to be the one leading the changing room celebration after the Wolves win
The risk of change? Mate we have to change, constantly, if we want to reach the premier league. Why do I care ?

I think under SISU people got addicted to soap operas and conspiracy theories. Unfortunately for some younger fans it is all they have known.
d'oh yes meant chris marsh. That's Chris Marsh
Which is what a number of us suspect. This is the new variable. There is one person I’d describe as an ITK on these matters and he has posted that it was the new directors decision to remove him
I don’t have any inside info.
I do know that after 7 years of relative success it’s odd that Viveash has left with no comments from him, Robins, the players etc …. It’s not our comms style.
It’s got all the hallmarks of a compromise agreement statement ….
We have also not heard from either of the new coaches, again not the clubs normal style.
Suspect?Which is what a number of us suspect. This is the new variable.
Coventry City can confirm that, following a post season review, it has decided to revamp its coaching structure, with assistant manager Adi Viveash today leaving the Club.
