Haha I don’t give a shit if they’re ex players or not. I was merely pointing out that Doyle had been tweeted twice in three days. Putting two and two together. There might be nothing in it.
I’d welcome Doyle back as he is, in my opinion, a club legend, relatively new in his coaching career and he clearly loves the club. I also trust that MR would have more insight into his coaching abilities than some troll on SBT.
Played over 300 games across two spells. Must have been well shite. For most of his time here Doyle was shite
For most of his time here Doyle was shite
To be fair that’s understable, King is obviously keen to give robins a chance, but if he isn’t hitting the targets set, then it will be time to move on.I didnt know Adi was on his bike so this isnt aby ITK, just a chat I've had off the back of ghe news
Basically what has been posted above. His methods are quite old school. They are fantastic at bringing the best out of average players, but don't sit well with your multi million pound signings who have experienced higher levels of training etc. These changes have been made with a look at improving this side of the club and moving into a more modern way of player training and conditioning, which may well work
It's true he evidently didn't get on well with a few of last years new recruits.
He's known the writings on the wall for a while and leaves on his own terms there's no behind the scenes unrest with it other than people are a bit miffed with the way some things are done now. Don't expect to see him become a .manager elsewhere, he isn't interested..
It may well be a good move it may well be shit, but there is one thing I think we should all be worried about and that's Robins. And this is my own personal view....
Robins whole support network that got us to where we are today is now gone. He was very close personally and professionally with Boddy. The same for Dennis Lawrence, and of course we all saw his working relationship with Viveash got us from the pits of despair to now. All those Robins trusted Inherently are now gone. That's what we should be worried about. This revamp may well work a treat, and I'm sure we all hope it does, but I genuinely feel that if we don't get Promoted, or run it extremely close, we may well be sitting here this time next year discussing a new manager.
Viveash was sacked because he was controlling the weather? All we need now is GIMOC to come on with a huge list of conspiracy theories......
surely on a personal level robins is thinking, one more push, get to prem, then cash in, and get a job in a prem side, and know that hes done everything he can to get this club promoted.I didnt know Adi was on his bike so this isnt aby ITK, just a chat I've had off the back of ghe news

He's being given all the tools he needs to succeed tbf, we're not the paupers any more. So if he underachieves I'm sure his boss (King) will be asking questions, as anyone's boss would.I didnt know Adi was on his bike so this isnt aby ITK, just a chat I've had off the back of ghe news

We also need to replace our championship coaching experience reallySurely Andy Whing has shown far more potential if its ex players you are interested in?
Think all of that is fair. I share the same view re MR but also think King would be right to consider a change should we not at least go close this year.I didnt know Adi was on his bike so this isnt aby ITK, just a chat I've had off the back of ghe news

Thats reasoned and fair all round, perhaps Adi's time has come up if the quality of players we are going after expect more (or different methods) then we need to move with the times.I didnt know Adi was on his bike so this isnt aby ITK, just a chat I've had off the back of ghe news

Why does he need a support group? He's managing a football club not attending AA meetingsThats reasoned and fair all round, perhaps Adi's time has come up if the quality of players we are going after expect more (or different methods) then we need to move with the times.
Agreed I think it is risky removing all of Robins closest support group especially when most people believe that this coming season provides a massive opportunity to get promoted. Seems a gamble to shake up so much when we didn't really look that far off pace. As you said it might be the exact thing we need though. time will tell.
Us when Miller leftUnless anyone has any examples of an assistant manager leaving and a team going to shit, I’m not going to worry.
Think we were starting to flatline
not if penalty shoot outs are the issueSurely Andy Whing has shown far more potential if its ex players you are interested in?
They will be the DL replacementsThe article says George Boateng and Rhys Carr have joined the coaching staff with more announcements to follow.
It doesn't say either of those two are a direct replacement for Viveash.
I think they both are to be honest , I think the more announcements will be the defensive coachThe article says George Boateng and Rhys Carr have joined the coaching staff with more announcements to follow.
