yeah i might be a crackpot to some sure, but still what has that got to do with Waghorn and being a lazy fuk

Were you at the game yesterday or wolves or Forest? I understand someone saying he isn’t fitting the system and hasn’t set the world alight, although my retort would be we’ve played two league games and it’s far too early to make a proper judgement on that. But for someone to say he’s lazy, I don’t believe you could have watched a game so far. He runs his bollocks off but it currently hasn’t translated into an all round performance

Not read whole thread (can't be bothered).

Watched YouTube video a week or so ago about Waghorn opening up about mental health / problems with depression (recorded when he was at Derby).

I really hope that the small minority of morons in our fanbase don't start to give him dog's abuse at games if things aren't going his way, it just won't help. He comes across to me as a genuine player who won't hide even if he is not on his game (and the fact he scored vital goals at the end of the season for Derby shows some resilience).

Personally I am glad we signed him (for the useful assists he will provide from free kicks and corners, hopefully).

I'm sure it extends across the whole of the sport.

It extends across anything where people comment without professional experience TBH. Politics, education, all sorts.

A quick look at any old thread will show you how little any of us know.

It sometimes feel like he is being targeted due to the number 9 shirt not being retired.

some people are suggesting on Twitter we bring him back (obviously) but also make sure he has a job for life here when he retires

Players getting moans and groans from the terraces is part and parcel of the game unfortunately gone on for years but imo they should keep away from football websites where things are more personal with name calling and references to anything from weight, hair, looks etc, etc.

It’s poor that we’re slagging off new players two games into the season. One of which we won, and the other we were very unlucky not to have got at least a draw. Give them time.

Tagging them in any criticism on social media is pathetic.

Perhaps both fans and players alike would be best advised to get off social media in the first place, it’s toxic most of the time

Even for ‘banter’ this is just ridiculous. Not even funny, what a sad life you lead
I've said my piece, held my hands up, admitted i acted a bit of a twat and explained my reasons. But if you wanna carry on getting personal that's fine.

We needed to get a bit move experience into the squad this season and wagga has that. Hopefully prove to be a good signing can't believe he's been written off already

I do apologise in that case, I must have missed your post where you held your hands up. Have a good Sunday

Only 4 players scored 20 or more goals last season in the champ all were penalty takers.

what are people expecting Armstrong scored 28 5 of which were pens he has been brought for 15M.
Get a grip people.

Also it depends massively on the style of the team. We don’t set up to score loads. I doubt even Armstrong would’ve got 20 in our side.

Hurry up and prove me wrong. Went off and we score 2, same as against Forest. Took one decent corner though. 4th choice, would actually say Max offered more.....

no biamou offered literally nothing - if he was in the team now it would be as an act of charity

Long term it's got to surely be one of Gyo / Wag alongside one of Walk / God, hasn't it?
I think Gyo and Walker would be my pick but if Godden does things like that it’ll be difficult not to play him.

Gyokeres is leading the line well and the other two will pinch a goal. If Waghorn doesn’t start affecting games more proactively he’ll drop down the order.

Yeah, I genuinely think Walker's the best striker at the club, if we're talking cutting edge. Gyo's done far better so far than I could ever expect, but there will be times when he needs a break, and that's when Waghorn's needed.

tbf, Godden coming back and able to come on when we're chasing a game ain't a bad option. Doubt he'd like it, but that might be his role for a bit.

I think we will revert to 1 up front next week at QPR with Allen starting in place of Waghorn, and if we need a goal then Godden to replace Allen after 60 minutes, and city to win 1-0 🤞
