Waghorn may have had a poor season but to suggest he is the reason we are not in the playoffs I find unbelievable. Sure he may have contributed to it but so has everyone we win as a team we lose as a team.
I can say that's right as he is the top earner and produced less than the rest of the squad and that's a fact.Idislike calling any player but the fact is he's not been upto standard.Imagine what we could have done this year with a full season of an extra player performing better than O’Hare/Gyokeres etc. I don’t think what I’m saying is that outlandish. We paid him to be the main man and he hasn’t delivered at all.
Give more leeway to Waghorn and Walker than the manager, curious
At least Waghorn is a 'Name'. Wouldn't surprise me if one of the big clubs in League 1 took a punt on him e.g Sunderland, Ipswich, Sheff Weds.
When the original post stated Kelly signing, I assumed he meant his initial signing. If he was referring to signing a new contract then that's a different argument. So that justifies signing an inadequate and injury prone player for the championship on an £800 grand 2 year deal?
We should have released him last summer

Clearly that’s what I’m meant - he’s a waste of a wage now
I heard it goes up 5k every game he doesn’t score5-6 goals more isn’t too much to ask for his 45k a week really
Signing on fee crippled the budget apparently also another poor striker signed by our former striker managerI heard it goes up 5k every game he doesn’t score
He’s not fat at all.Hes fat, slow, cant hit a cows arse with a shovel and has the movement of Stephen Hawking
Bin him off
Robins signing another waste of budget same as walkerHes fat, slow, cant hit a cows arse with a shovel and has the movement of Stephen Hawking
Bin him off
Letting him go is fine who wants him & who’s paying the 45k a weekHe's clearly a good footballer. Intelligent positioning, good touch and movement. But it hasn't worked out so I would look to let him go at this stage.
How many times...he's not on 45k a weekLetting him go is fine who wants him & who’s paying the 45k a week

They’re hardly constructive comments for a player who’s been open about suffering mental health issue either.

I said in hindsight he’s been a poor signing.Lets give him a free pass then.
A lot of people suffer badly from mental health, which has unfortunately only got worse since Covid, but if someone's shit at their job then they aren't beyond criticism
He’s been a poor signing in hindsight but he’s nowhere near as bad as what gets made out.
Some you win, some you loose, for every Gyokeres and Hamer, there's a Waghorn and Walker! At least Waghorn is a 'Name'. Wouldn't surprise me if one of the big clubs in League 1 took a punt on him e.g Sunderland, Ipswich, Sheff Weds.

2m signing on fee we give himYou saying he’s on £50k a week!?
Hes fat, slow, cant hit a cows arse with a shovel and has the movement of Stephen Hawking
Bin him off

You’re just posting personal abuse towards him and frankly you’re excuse that other people suffer mental health problems is a shit excuse.
Why didn’t our manager know this before blowing most of the budget on him ? Wasn’t like he had a great season last year was it...Past his sell buy date.
Not far off. Wages of roughly 17k and with a signing on fee of 2 million, that equates to roughly 40k a week or 4 million a goal. How many times...he's not on 45k a week
