Agree with this and looks (?) to have removed some of the rash fouls he gives away. Does anyone think he can do the role behind the strikers? Lots of movement and passing potential with hamer I think?Hamer has been dissapointing????
Wow. That's your opinion. 2nd most chances created in the whole division.
Ridiculous stat considering he's missed 3 games.
Some of his passing yesterday 40 yard diagonals were ridiculous. Dabo just struggled to do basics of controlling some of them.
He's a class class act. Has everything and is an absolute steal.
Hamer was played out of his position yesterday out on wide right. That system didn't get the best out of anybody.
Will probably be first player out the door if we get relegated for about minimum double or 3/4 times what we paid for him.
Joe Jacobson of Wycombe who’s a left back is 6th for chances created
Genuinely, I think he could be our next big transfer fee, if we play to his strengths and iron out his wrinkles. Level? No idea, but certainly our level. What level do you think he can get to?
When we play them target grimmers side of the pitch. Wembley goal aside, he’s not a good defenderSo..??? Lol wycombe are not worthy.?
Jacobson is a very good player..should be higher he's had a couple of decent goals and assists scratched off too for little old wycombe.

He’s Walsh’s replacementDidn’t he play rwb for zwolle last season and we signed him on the back of that? Can cover for Dabo then?

Jacobson is not a very good player at Championship level, he’s 33 and has played at League 2 and League 1 for the majority of his career.

He did play for Zwolle as a right sided defensive player, no idea if that was his main position. You’d think in our current situation if MR thought he was an option at RWB he’d have been given a go when we have no / few other options, but as we’ve never seen it happen I have no idea if he can do it for us in the Championship.Didn’t he play rwb for zwolle last season and we signed him on the back of that? I’m talking if rwb becomes a problem with dabo not fit but playing and dacosta outHe’s Walsh’s replacement
That’s already been happening all seasonI’m talking if rwb becomes a problem with dabo not fit but playing and dacosta out
We have fitness issues at rwb so if necessaryHe did play for Zwolle as a right sided defensive player, no idea if that was his main position. Interesting question though.
Again your talking about your opinion.
Stats back up he's 6th for chances created.
He's not worthy as he's played most his career league 1 and 2.
What bollocks do you talk.?
Players who get promoted from playing most their careers in lower divisions don't take step up???
You talk nonsense.
Didn’t seem to work for him (based on one game) yesterday, but then he seemed to be holding back a bit. Presumably he’s been told to reign it in a bit, and this is the issue with his type of player, finding the sweet spot between getting sent off and showing tenacity that we desperately need in midfield. Hamer is a quality player, but looks to me like he needs an arm around his shoulders and a softly softly approach. He looks like he wants to learn (which is massively important) is adjusting to the English leagues and has the raw ability to be a quality player, if a little erratic at times. We have fitness issues at rwb so if necessary
What I’m saying is it doesn’t tell the full story, if you take all the set pieces and are good at them you will rank high in key passes. I would be more interested in open play key passes to judge a players creativity as that’s where the majority of goals come from.
He has 1 assist this season - either the chances created are of little value or our players can’t finish.

Some of his passes are way above the level we’ve been used to, his teammates and he need to get used to each other. They’re learning every game.
If he doesn’t end up adding more than he costs, I’ll be amazed

Do think that if Godden and Walker were in there looking for the crosses and scraps, we’d be scoring more freely, even with a defensive set up behind them. If we can utilise the likes of Hamer and O’Hare more effectively, we can get the ball to those front two and they will do damage to teams. Seem enough of Walker now to know that he has quality, and we know that Godden does. Maybe the sum of the parts won’t be greater than the individuals, but even them both playing independently would be more of a threat than we’ve seen so far. But I think they will click personally. Let’s wait and see (if we ever manage to get a full-strength team together)Agreed.
Doesn't tell you full picture.
As for his chances created....only 1 assist? Ah yess the 2nd goal vs Watford was Biamous assist not his.
The answer is our players can't finish..prime example was vs QPR where he put the ball on a plate for 2/3 free headers before the actual Mcfadz goal.
Indeed, but he didn’t do it. First game he’d have smashed him. He’s learning on the job and has already accepted that he won’t get away with it in this league. At 23 he is still learning, and I’m glad he’s doing it with us. If he’s not quality in a couple of years then I’ll bump this thread myself and hold my hands up to being as clueless as I am100% agree.
The opposition players are already targeting his suspect composure.
There was one naughty deliberate late tackle on him yesterday and you could see he was ticking...he wanted revenge.
Sheaf has been our best midfielder so far. Hamer for what we paid has been disappointing
Hamer is second in the league for chances created...
What level do you think he can get to?
He is absolutely scared of tackling too...goes missing because he don't seem to want to get near a player unless he's playing catch up and pushes someone in the back...wouldn't like him next to me in the trenches for sure !!!Don't even remember Hamer touching the ball last night. Biggest thing shippers did was moan to the ref just so it it looked like he was playing. He looks absolutely fucking terrified of the championship

Well yes if you take away some of his assists then of course he won't have as many. Set pieces are important. This is a bit like Gendel deciding most of Biamou's goals don't count. What I’m saying is it doesn’t tell the full story, if you take all the set pieces and are good at them you will rank high in key passes.
