Credit must go to robins and the players for not letting the off field problems affect them

The Independent told people to "back the saddlers" for a win vs. Cov given the stadium situation - who wrote that article!!!

That gap doesn t seem to be closing. We d have to not have another bad spell all season and rely on others to screw up

Great result against a very poor side but let that not distract us from some good passing team play!

MOTM id award to McSheffrey. Even though he didnt finish the match i thought that was his best game in a very very long time!

I even stood up when he went off (although tbf, I was already standing for the first sub, so wasnt intentional :) )

Anyone reckon the Football League show will give us the time of day yet or will we still be on last !?

No doubt the analysis will be 'So is it right for Coventry to prioritise chasing success over meeting rental payments?', followed by 'What a great job everyone's doing down at Portsmouth'.

So True mate

Pompey being based down south get the down south centric importance factor

I will prove my point ...... when it snows in London it is snowing everywhere and big news. When it stops snowing in London the snow must have gone from everywhere and life is normal again.........:slap:

I lived in Aberdeen and saw it for me own eyes. ( where it snowed like feck)

I accept (and have strongly argued) that we have acted poorly over how we've gone about trying to get a rent reduction. But have we gone into administration 3 times, screwed over countless local businesses and schools, then had the nerve to complain about points deductions as a result? No-but the media influence you've described will portray us as the wrong-doers and Pompey as the hard-done by.

Still, as I write this, Linnell is backing the club's actions

That gap often looks 'static' for a number of games as we play catch up. However a look at the league and you will see how much closer the gap is getting as our form out strips others above us. Swindon for example, Bournemouth who some claim were on a storm up the league. Another few good results and suddenly the league position will look a lot healthier too. ;)

Well-if we'd held on to all the points we'd thrown away this season we'd be 8 points clear at the top!

Pompey also scerwed over numerous local companies including a failed payments to a local flower company in Northend of a few poxy quid , make no mistake people should have gone to prison over what happened there and maybe will do still

Didnt they technically rob a charity too? Or promise funds to them and never delivered?

Yes those at the top have dropped points but the fact remains that when Robins took over we were 8 points away from 6th, after this amazing run we are now 9 points adrift.

The Doncaster and MK Dons games this month are massive.

When they eventually go it will all come out. Too many pals of the villians in the FA still when they go it will be a free for all.

Been a dodgey club when El Tel bought it for a quid in the 1990's

We have 4 tough games coming up, if we can come through it with a good amount of points then people may start to believe

Very satisfied tonight.

Another big win. 9 points off the playoffs. Now only 13 points off 1st place. Still 25 games to go. All the teams at the top dropping points. We are not :)

A couple of months ago we couldn't beat anyone. Now nobody will look forward to playing us. At last a few of us with our deluded thoughts are only looking 90% deluded :D

Apart from Mcgoldrick, who In my opinion had best game for city, Sheffers and the Edge were the best players on the pitch.

9 points play-offs. Looking surmountable now with over half season remaining. In fact, as we've yet to play the top clubs again/yet - some wins there could make that 13 points catchable too.
Maybe...just maybe...

I am starting to think that the non payment of rent is for a reason we are missing. Are SISU putting it to one side so we can keep McG?
