There's got to be a song in there somewhere!
Doug King bought in Frank Lampard. There's got to be a song in there somewhere!
I don't know about without the other two, but with the people appointed, it very obviously wasn't working. Perhaps with better appointments it may have been different, but we'll never know.MR deserves loads of respect and plaudits for pulling our club out of a near impossible situation. He truly dragged us with the assistance of Adi and Lawrence from the most grim days to challenging for promotion from the Championship. However I think that the ultimate goal of the PL was beyond his grasp without the other 2 in his managerial success. FL has taken us to another level. Respect Robins for his immense contribution but his time has gone and back Frank.
He's just a jammy dodgem.
I think that there have been obvious improvements that were beyond MR. His issue with Kitching being the most obvious and what appeared to be his choice of coaching team.I don't know about without the other two, but with the people appointed, it very obviously wasn't working. Tbf, I don't think we've been taken to another level, we've just been brought back to the level we were at before it went wrong this season. We're where we should be, and where we've been the last couple of seasons; one of those teams making a very serious claim for a play-off spot.
Not sure whose coaching team you're referring to there, but it's inarguable that the one we have now is better than the one at the start of the season.I think that there have been obvious improvements that were beyond MR. A shocking performance against the side a level above everyone else in this division which is the only game we haven't won in the last 9?Leeds away immediately springs to mind....
He’s on about the Leeds away match where we didn’t even bother turning up, not the most recent game with LeedsA shocking performance against the side a level above everyone else in this division which is the only game we haven't won in the last 9?
How about a bit of perspective? We're above everyone in the current form table except Leeds. But if you want to pick and choose to our advantage in the last 9 we're even above Leeds and they haven't lost a league game since November.
Instead of trying to find faults with our side and Lampard we should be full of praise for what we have achieved.
