Is it that much? It usually has really shit clothing websites on that look like a 4 year old designed. Are they really paying that much?

I guess that's the list price. Does say on the site discounts available.

If anyones interested the Digital advertising board at the Ricoh on the A444 costs around £150 a day to advertise on.
Do they allow profanities? :)

Agree with your sentiment, but the EFL are also only really in it for the money too. If they got an offer for TV rights abroad - L1&2 fixture list would eventually fit their schedule & the fans would be as buggered about much as those of the Premiership

Yeah but one step removed.

The EFL ultimately have to be governed by the government and supported by fans (more so than the PL).

It might be wishful thinking, but opening it up as a “this could happen to you” with other fans might get enough pressure to make them less likely to just kick us out.

Or more likely.

My big fear is this event ends up validating franchising of football teams.

The cheapest seats for an adult its £42 for 3 matches and a shirt.

Shirt price is £25 in the sale.RRP £65!

So basically £5.60 a match plus shirt price or £16 excluding it. Cant be much mark up left in shirt and tickets at that price
Still £5.60 a match than most pay to go there!

I assume a longer term deal on that must be cheaper? E.g. £100 a day?
Why don't we crowd fund for an initial £1k and try and get it up for 10 days and then keep extending if more money comes in?
I don't think we should look at just on match days either.

I think something slightly more detailed should be on here. Perhaps show the crowd at Wembley with a family celebrating in the forefront and maybe a sentence or too?

Does anyone have any contacts who are City fans to help with the design? Any contacts perhaps to get us a reduced rate? We need to utilize what we can. Already 2.5 days since the Luton protest.....

I have an idea of a poster/billboard I’d look to create if I had the tools. Sky blue background, blacked out pic of Ann Lucas in the corner of it (I say this as I’d expect you need consent to publish) with her exact quote in white writing:

“Let me be clear, any deal around the future of the Ricoh Arena must not happen if it threatens the future of the Sky Blues or Coventry Rugby Club.“

Clever move by the wasps.
Putting up a coventry city badge on the billboard outside the Ricoh stopping anyone putting anti wasps stuff up.;)

Fook me Wasps giving away a home shirt if you buy a 3 match package. Doesn't sound like they are thriving does it?

Tell you what mate, not that I could ever afford it anyway, but I won't ever be buying a Land Rover.

How much for a billboard?

Google says “from £999 for three months”, sounds eminently crowdfundable.

One at the Ricoh is £150 a day with discounts available. someone would need to email or call to find out proper prices.

I’m sure someone on here must have worked with billboard before and might know more details.

Is that the electric one? It seems a lot because they rotate as well so it isn't a full day.

Petrol stations might be worth looking at as well, always see the numbers to advertise on the pumps!

Could an online advert similar to stuff you get from cookies be done? I’m useless when it comes to this stuff so might be impossible, but if you could target people locally online it might help.

Must admit, I have never really done much with Adwords. I think Sick Boy might know more about it.

It would need a page for it to go to and then you just bid on certain keywords / demographics I think.

I recon it will be a lot cheaper. As like you said there’s multiple adverts used on it

But I’m sure we must have an advertising person on here

Has anybody noticed a bit of desperation from certain people the more that people seem to be saying that all sides have their part to play in this? Strangely, the people who bang on about others being "SISU apologists" are just showing that all they want to do is apologise for the other parties. I don't see anybody (bar the usual 1 mentalist!!!) saying that SISU have done nothing wrong, plenty trying their hardest to say the others have done nothing wrong at all.

You already know my thoughts on Sisu and Wasps. However to have our council, our own fucking council acting like a bunch of twats is quite frankly unbelievable.

Twitter is rife with w**ps apologists,
"Why should they let us stay at the ricoh" types.

The thing is though, there's loads of people (more than I've seen before) who are now being vocal about all sides.

The other thing to notice, the people who bang on about them being SISU sympathisers are showing themselves up because they are only there to actually defend the others. Nobody is saying SISU aren't to blame for anything, they are saying the others are completely blameless.

A few people are getting found out.

Just wondering if the text would be readable on that screen.

Are there any near the council offices?

I’ve done a bit. Through an agency though. You set a budget and an audience then put an ad with a landing page up. You pay more for hot times/terms and can say “only spend x a day” and stuff. It’s pretty straight forward just need a budget.

You’d probably want to do display ads (like you have on here), rather than search.

I wonder if the Wasps sites would know how to block them from showing?

I have looked at how it works but never had the bottle to plough money into it. The thing there is to have a landing page with a message on it for the traffic to go to.
