I'm not you Hubba Bubba, I was simply pointing out they aren't very user friendlyThen stop whining cos you clearly value your other commitments and opposition to a pub two minutes from the City centre more than changing the direction of the trust.
Make sense? Or should I break out the crayons, you absolute lemon peeler?
Again. Why are those sympathetic to Wasps (if that’s what you think the issue is) are more likely to live in Coventry?
You’re claiming the timing and location of meetings is why the (apparently) vast majority of reasonable City fans who think like you can’t go.
I’m saying that’s ridiculous.
You asked for my “excuse” I’m pretty sure living and work arrangements would suggest this.
ultimately. The trust have 3000 alleged members. I’d say the majority do not turn up.
there possibly would be more members, however the sign up process/voting methods are antiquated and limiting.
The suggestion of online voting, video of the meetings, and Online sign up are suggestions to bring them into the 21st century and to a wider group...
however I suspect the small voting group suits their agenda

I seem to remember Grendel was all billy big bollocks about running for the board until he actually had to do something then he ran away with his tail between his legs.
mic not said any thing apart from I think the trust is outdated in they way it is. Your the one who keeps banging on about wasps and the trust.
there is clearly an issue with the trust otherwise there would be more members.
Love the way you call him out knowing you can't see his response
I thought they met at the squirrel?
Love the way you call him out knowing you can't see his response, firing them shots
Ironically says Grendel was giving it billy big bollocks too
How many people turn up exactly? The trust has board members that have openly tried to overthrow the current ownership, met with Wasps, actively stated they want a Phoenix club. Why would it? How does that gerrymander to those that are against its current direction exactly? It doesn’t. The fact is that if people wanted to they could get involved. I seem to remember Grendel was all billy big bollocks about running for the board until he actually had to do something then he ran away with his tail between his legs.
He can respond, knowing I won’t see it.
Theres fucking loads of issues with the trust. The main one is that the only people who can be arsed to get involved don’t seem to represent the wider fan base or ask the right questions of the actors involved.
The way to resolve that issue is to:
a) accept its a busted flush and stop frothing about it (my chosen route)
b) get involved and change it

they haven’t campaigned or otherwise advertised for new membership.
what’s left of the group is a relic of the SISU our protest that began prior to wasps. Their whole Mission is “SISU OUT” at all costs
If I remember - Grendel’s issue wasn’t that he’d be a sky blue talk rep but could be voted out by the whole of the trust. A valid fear?
The biggest issue is that they are seen and actively encouraged as the voice of the fans - it’s frustrating as they do not represent the fanbase
Exactly my point.... so you can't see what he says
You said i can't read.... Can you?
No upset caused - just healthy debate.Legally they are. There can only be one supporters trust recognised I believe.
Havung read the FB forum they probably do represent the majority of fans as the majority are horrendously misinformed.
Nothing stopping this forum setting up a group and trying to get media attention, putting out press releases etc. But they don’t want to and that’s all my point is. Bunch of keyboard warriors who want everyone else to do the hard work.
Sorry if that upsets you.
I nominate Grendel to do all our press releasesLegally they are. There can only be one supporters trust recognised I believe.

“They” are their members. You can join. They can be you. Why is this so hard to grasp?
No upset caused - just healthy debate.
the problem you also have is that the local media back this position.
stuart linnell derided the indemnity clause as “posting mischief”
how is anyone supposed to get media attention when it goes against that opinion?
the trust have the position, contacts and backing from FSA it’s hard for another supporter group to go against this
I agree. So what do we do? We can either take over the current Trust, set up an opposing group, or go around them direct to the media. I suggested calling into CWR or Twitter bombing local media until they respond. If the Trust won’t get the answers we need who can or how can we get them ourselves?
Grenners says you a re a lying tip top and says
"No that’s bollocks. The only people who get to vote are the ones who go to the pub. Also questions for the meeting are approved by the secretary"
Do you think CJ was born into the board? Like The Queen?
Or did he perhaps turn up, get involved, get elected?
Jesus you really are dim.
We’ll continue to call for the trust to move into the 21st century to start.I agree. So what do we do? Keep going. How is that unfair on him and not me exactly?
Ah the pub, that famously impenetrable fortress.
We’ll continue to call for the trust to move into the 21st century to start.
I’ve emailed Duggins, Simon Gilbert and messaged Andy Turner..
surprisingly I found Duggins and Simon Gilbert quite engaging.
I’ve now gone off the council issue, they basically have washed their hands of the situation.
Simon in my eyes is of the opinion we’ve just got to wait it out and see what happens with the complaint and whether wasps will even have to pay, but ultimately it’s a logical reaction from wasps to have the indemnity albeit a hinderance to us returning.
Andy Turner hasn’t as predicted by some here hasn’t responded.. although we got the telegraph fluff piece about the bricks.
Pete started the ball running with CWR, I think it’s important to wait to see their response before we plan the next step - they seemed to be flustered
I agree - i think you’ve misunderstood, I’d probably should have written it to be “it’s kind of expected that wasps would want covering”Why is it a logical reaction for CCFC to indemnify Wasps and related parties? The logic is that the council should indemnify them as they only pay if the council are found to be in the wrong.
OK then, say I want to get involved with the trust. What would you suggest I do?Ah the pub, that famously impenetrable fortress.

What about the Muslim city fans mate?
Think I’m going to have to get a twitter account.Yeah I poked Turner on Twitter. No reply but he was defending himself about the wall story.
I like CWR cos it’s live and they can’t ignored you.
