"Football ...... supporters ........... are ....... beneath ................ me .............. , that's life ....................."
That's your choice ... plenty of SBT members have dropped into Wasps forums either to talk rationally or to stir things up ....... I fully understand that many here are skeptical of anyone coming here to talk ...... it certainly wasn't to stir anything other than try to have an adult conversation with some of you, like any forum on any topic some people are incapable of an adult conversation when they are behind a keyboard , that's life !
O............... k. , I ..................... ' m .............................. sorryYou need to get that chip off your shoulder
In an era when it has gone professional, is nearly completely reliant on TV income and there are salaries to pay then the number of people interested is crucial surely? You could say that about any sport that isnt as popular as football ..... the reality is its popular amongst the people who are interested, its just happens to be less ...... is that a bad thing ?
ally.
Ironically again you go for the intelligence argument, whilst showing you know nothing about the situation. The fact you think there are 8k core fans at Wasps says it all.

Some people can't even construct sentences. Not sure where I said there where 8k core supporters ......... it was a figure quoted by a member of your own forum.
As for intelligence ....... some of the posts speak for themselves .... no need for me to point anything out
It's a fair point, I don't know much about Wasps finances prior to their (latest...) move.
One thing that's always intrigued me is how everyone on DrunkenWasps/OnceAWasp seems to blindly agree with whatever the Wasps hierarchy say.
Don't you think it's a convenient line to say; 'we had to move to Cov otherwise we'd have been liquidated' when you're going to up sticks (again...)? Also we know from court documents that the previous Wasps owner was talking to CCC about a move to the Ricoh years before you left Wycombe...
When will your adult conversation start though?
Clearly you dont want one ........ other than dropping in with smart snide remarks attracting likes from your mates
You're losing more money now than at Wycombe so in theory the move was pointless, Richardson is a property developer which is why Coventry Council wanted him here, unfortunately for him his money is running out fast. The forums are not necessarily a representative view of the majority ........... much like a couple of hundred posters on here are not necessarily representative of CCFC supporters or residents of Coventry.
One thing is certain and documented is the club was just shy of extinction, the move to Cov was a solution/option offered by Richardson, of course there are potentially other options, many have been discussed endlessly on here and elsewhere but were they viable options ?, reality is you or I will never know.

I tried to start one asking you about the move Wasps turned down back towards London, which you weren't aware of.
You are trying to have the same conversations had in about 2016. The only thing now is that you can't fill the ground with freebies and haven't paid the bonds.
The rest of the "we had no choice" is absolutely identical.
I think youll find the conversations started about the current situation ...... all the old stuff from 2016 has been bought up by posters on here, I have just replied to them ....... I sure you can show me if I'm wrong
I have no Idea what the majority of Wasps supporters think ..... much the same as you have no idea what what the average CCFC supporter thinksAh, so the majority of Wasps supporters do think Richardson/Eastwood are shysters and don't believe a word they spout?

You're on a wind up ffsThanks for that ..... what is Richardsons background prior to Wasps ? I genuinely dont know beyond the insurance company he owned .... perhaps you can share ?
Well I’ve shown links to accounts which show the business is a basket case and going backwards - clear proof a huge swell of tickets are free and the revenue is less on the rugby side than when at Wycombe. You don’t see interest in much of that - the general feedback you get on the forums is “we are growing as a business” which is just rubbish
You're on a wind up ffs

Much like your posts on the Wasps forum ....... you are full of assumptions and no actual knowledge ........ much like me with CCFC
I tried to start one asking you about the move Wasps turned down back towards London, which you weren't aware of.
Start it again ..... tell me about the move they turned down ..... I'll discuss it like an adult
Assumptions based on information from signed off accounts
Seriously Im not ...... tell me about Richardson as a property developer
You have come on here and you don't seem to know much, go away and do a bit of research and then people will debate with you.
Senior Wasps figures buy proposed housing land near training base
Wasps owner Derek Richardson and group chief executive David Armstrong are directors of a firm that has bought land next to the Alan Higgs Centrewww.coventrytelegraph.net
I dont need to research gossip and speculation plenty on here ....... I generally stick to facts ..... there is nothing factual about a move being turned down ..... otherwise you would happily point me to it.
a solid 95% of this city absolutely detest what your club is, what they've done, and how they've done it. If you really don't think that's the case i don't even know what to say anymore
Yep, I am talking about facts.

Not sure that's the case. My work does, or at least did pre-pandemic, take me to many workplaces around the city and its rare to find a positive word about Wasps being in the city.Or more like a solid 95% of the city dont care ?

In fact I've only met two people who regularly go to games. One was an old Welsh chap who loved rugby and would happily take advantage of free tickets, also attended CRFC, and was very much of the option Wasps shouldn't be here and CCFC were shafted by the council, the other was a chap who would recite Wasps PR bull unquestioned.
Don't care was really the best case scenario for Wasps, in my experience most peoples option range from shouldn't be here to outright hatred.
You appear to be ignoring posters who are linking to factual articles and getting hung up on '8k crowd' and '95%' estimates.I think there's a difference between people not being interested in going to watch them play or not being interested in Wasps in general, versus 95% of the population despising Wasps ...... reality is its hard to quantify .... certainly a few thousand interested enough to take the free tickets !
