what’s happening about wasps being relegated? Isn’t it supposed to be automatic if they go into admin?

our Wasps downward spiral thread was 4 years old yesterday, so it has been clear over that time where it was all going to end, and probably before
Can’t be - I thought Vaughan said they were earning shit loads and we were just jealous and should be using our energy to get rid of SISU whilst being good tenants and pay our rent

Genuine question here... if the ground requires an estimated £15-£20m of repairs doing to it... where are those repairs needed?

I'm being deliberately dramatic here.... is the ground 100% safe for 20,000 people? Now i'm pretty 99% sure the ground must have a safety certificate in place otherwise we would have a Birmingham city situation on our hands but where are these repairs needed? They cant be structural otherwise the ground wouldn't get a safety certificate?

Time to end this on going Wasp narrative they’re gone, dead, kaput. May get re-born later and do a bit of a come back but playing elsewhere, probably somewhere London way.
Now we should all be concentrating on how to get rid of sisu, they must go if they stay we are condemned to never going higher Sepalla does not want the Premiership, don’t think she that keen on the championship either.

It cost £5million to build a porch there. They said it was to bring it up to date as well, the area around the boxes is really tatty and it’s fairly obvious the insects haven’t spent a penny for a long time.

its only 17 years old, Id be pretty fecked off if it has major issues.

Another genuine question and I'm going to sound naive or thick but as leaseholders are they responsible for the repairs or should CCC as the freeholder be doing this? Apologies but I'm confused between owner, lease holder, tennant, CCC, Wasps, ACL, ACL11,000,000,000 etc.

Another genuine question and I'm going to sound naive or thick but as leaseholders are they responsible for the repairs or should CCC as the freeholder be doing this? Apologies but I'm confused between owner, lease holder, tennant, CCC, Wasps, ACL, ACL11,000,000,000 etc.

Normally, tenants aren't allowed to do anything to a property without the ok from the freeholder, so who would that be then?.......................

Wouldn't it be the case that Wasps/ACL were responsible for general/minor maintenance as the leasee, and CCC responsible for major structurals as the freeholder in the same way as a domenstic situation?
Edit - Sorry, just seen the above making the same point.

There were rumours quite a while back that cracks had been appearing and structural engineers called in. Was denied at first by Wasps who then changed the story to they've been checked and they're fine but given their relationship with the truth who knows.

But £20m in repairs for a stadium that's still relatively new would be very poor even if there has been virtually no maintenance since day one.

I'd suggest it would depend on the type of contract. To put it in housing terms It could be because the CBS is "detached" from any other common spaces that would have shared upkeep the building was Wasps responsibility.
